Small cafe in the bottom of the church, but wow this croissant was amazing! Fluffy inside, buttery texture, and very fresh. Highly recommend.
$3.50 each if anyone is wondering.

Best coffee and hot chocolate in town!
A secret coffee shop under a church. Beautiful spot. I was there on a Saturday afternoon and it was very quiet. Nice place to hide, study, read. I loved the furniture and the big open space.
While we were there, a wedding was taking place in the church overhead. So we heard organ music and people walking down the aisle.
They sell a few pastries. We didn't have lunch while there, and I'd be curious to go back and try it. They also sell roseries and other catholic doodads.

It's a stylish cafe with a French atmosphere, perfect for relaxing. The coffee, of course, and the freshly baked croissants and quiche are exquisite, especially recommended for breakfast or light lunch. The interior of the restaurant has a calm atmosphere that makes you feel like you are in Paris. The staff is kind and the service is attentive, so it's a comfortable stay. Please stop by if you want to spend some quiet time or chat with friends!

A beautiful and quiet spot to enjoy a coffee. Atmosphere is calming and environment is reminiscent of the history of the building.

There is a nice espresso machine and they make pretty good espresso based drinks but the atmosphere is a little stark and silent which might be good for some focus time. It is hard to find with small signs posted at the church entrance. This is definitely to take advantage of the Basilica visitors foot traffic, it's too bad they don't make it more of an actual café. Cool concept, mediocre execution.

A place where you can refresh yourself after visiting the basilica is appreciated, although the prices are a little high, it is designed more for tourists.

First time here, and we got the Lemongrass Lavender Iced Tea and a Cold Bree Coffee. Sat in one of the Pew booths and enjoyed the quiet atmosphere of the space to journal, read, or work.
It is located around the corner from the entrance to the cathedral, in the basement.
Unique experience among churches I've visited.
Recommendation would include soft instrumental background music, and perhaps also small informative plaques/posters at each table about the history of the church. Ex. Did you know that the church roof was replaced in 2010 with stainless steel? Originally it was constructed out of...." Etc etc.

Notre Dame Cathedral delivers! Attend one of the scheduled masses in English or French and then request a guided tour downstairs at Café des Tours. There is a lot to learn and see. A self-guided tour does not suffice because there are so many things that can be overlooked by untrained eyes. Following your tour, visit the gift shop and pick up unique cards by local artists, medals, or carved pieces from the Holy Land.
Conclude your visit with delicious cookies and coffee with friends. We sat in a booth (aka pews) so as to appreciate the different perspectives of the space. I ordered a cappuccino and shared a variety of pastries. We had a difficult time choosing a favorite because each had its unique flair. I cannot wait to return!

Classy, clean, and cozy. The young lady working was very cheerful and sweet. There were some GF options which is always a plus. I had the drip coffee and it was great. There is a decent selection of religious gifts and souvenirs as well.
