Combination of rude staff, overpriced items and asking 20% tip for grab&go is just insulting.

Food is absolutely terrible. The bread in the sandwiches are so stale that it tastes like nothing and the crumbs fall off every bite and the inside is mushy. The turkey and the fillings were so depressing and disappointing, the poor things shouldn’t have died to become that… Mocha was the only thing tolerable. The staff were extremely rude refusing to help us and rolling their eyes when we were choosing what to order

This place is ok if your gate is near.. there isn't anything good at the airport right now as they are renovating couple places. The food here is actually pretty good.. but everything including the drinks is way overpriced.
Delayed flight wait was enjoyable thanks to the great service. Bubbly and personable team and manager would definitely be back.
Don’t come to this restaurant, the manager is a child. There’s a nice pub down the hallway that will take much better care of you as you wait for your delayed flight.
Quaint little coffee shop at YOW (on the departures side past security)Good menu and lots of options but expensive. As one would assume at an airport but a cappuccino and a package of trident gum shouldn’t be $12.

You saved us VV! Late night flight, delayed several times and NO food was open behind security. But just before they closed the kitchen the VV team kindly (with care, kindness for our situation and no attitude) made several passengers and myself to-go charcuterie boxes. They totally could have closed, it wasn’t enough $ to stay open and help us, but they did. And every one of us will never forget it. I’ve here before, the food and service was good and as a frequent business traveller I appreciate this nicer spot in the Ottawa airport.
Horrible experience. $14.68 for a small sandwich. There aren’t even labels with ingredients on the packages, what if someone is allergic to something? Unsafe. I asked the lady working there which sandwich was which and she got visibly annoyed at me which certainly didn’t help me with picking the sandwich, I felt rushed and felt like I needed to buy whatever just to leave fast.

I’m writing this review based on Amaran, who was efficient, friendly and calm when she was working by herself at 7am when the line was endless. People were frustrated because the line was so long. She was the only one staffed, yet she was very good at her job and deserves to be compensated well. Staff are processing the volume she was and on their own ought to be paid a premium for shifts like that. I also liked that they had strawberries and yogurt here. $4.99 for a pack of plain gum is gauging though.
I ordered a cinnamon roll, hoping for a nice snack before my flight. However this roll must’ve been made in the image of the Sahara desert. It was gritty, flavourless and bone dry. I literally think I would have a more flavourful and moister cinnamon roll if I put plain flour, in the oven at 500°f, for 2 days, and sprinkled it with the dust found in the bottom of my vacuum cleaner.
$45 for a sandwhich, fruitcup, cheese string, chocolate milk and a small cup of pretzels. The fruit tasted rotten and was mushy and staff was too stunned to scan our second chocolate milk & just took it back. If i owned this place I’d be humiliated.
My first try of this cafe and will be my last. Worst ever cafe late served by a seemingly unhappy person.
When I arrived at the airport at 5pm on a Thursday this was the only place open to get a coffee. When I saw there were 7 reviews, All 1/5, I realized that this might be my only opportunity to have the worst coffee I’ve ever tasted, forever lowering my high coffee standards.I splurged and got a small coffee for 2.99. The employee went to the first carafe and pumped twice. She got maybe 1/3 of a cup then moved to the next carafe which had been placed aside because it was finished. She somehow managed to fill the cup to roughly 2/3 before moving back to the first carafe and filling the cup. Somehow the coffee was still hot.I took my first sip. This was a coffee of Mexican origin, but more like the sand of Mexico than the coffee of Mexico. The only indication I had that I was actually drinking coffee was the coffee breath that ensued. It’s like they took Tim Horton’s leftover coffee then boiled it for 3 hours and added river water to top it up. I tried all I could but I just couldn’t finish it. I’ve been defeated. Don’t defeat yourself. Don’t get coffee here.
