Café Deluxe on Kent Street is wonderful. The staff are always so friendly and welcoming, the coffee tastes great, and the classic chocolate chip cookies (plus all the baked goods!) are delicious.
It’s always a pleasure grabbing a treat during work hours, and having the shop right in the building makes it incredibly convenient. Highly recommend!

What can't be said about Cafe Deluxe! The absolute best sandwiches, wraps, and soups. For a place downtown you can't beat the price especially knowing everything is made fresh that day. If you do try this place, you MUST get a cookie. But be warned once you get one you can never not get one. I can't recommend Cafe Deluxe enough.

An amazing find downtown Ottawa. I met the owner, she was incredibly kind and welcoming! Great drinks, delicious food and lots of outdoor seating (in the summer). I was only in the downtown area for work, or else it would be a regular stop for me! Thanks!

We went to cafe deluxe when they were across from world exchange. I loved their delicious sandwiches, soups and hot meals, especially the chicken enchiladas on Friday. Well, that was years back and I’m excited to be back downtown and have them just a block away again. The owner was super sweet as usual, their panini sandwich was delicious and I can’t rave enough about their cookies, especially when you put a cookie on top of the soup and walk back to the office, it is warmed beautifully! Looking forward to many more visits.
