Very tasty food. Nice portion sizes and reasonable pricing. Will be back again soon
Dim sum dishes were acceptable though not as hot as they should be. The noodles we ordered were exceedingly salty; the chef must not have taste tested it after using half a bottle of dark soya sauce! There was a continuous lineup of food deliverers competing against dine-in customers for food.

Ordered takeout, everything was good and warm. I finished everything, and saw A CURLY HAIR at the bottom of the container. I instantly vomited everything out, and felt sick the whole night.
Please stay away as far as possible.

The best dim sum I've had in Ottawa!
The place is busy so expect a wait, but it's worth the wait! We ordered a bit of everything and it is as all very tasty.
The service is kind, quick, and efficient.
Five of us are very well and the bill at the end was more than responsible.
Will definitely be returning!

This is a great choice for any type of Chinese food, (dim sum, Cantonese…) one of the best in Ottawa (if not the best). However compared to New York or Toronto, Ottawa struggles when it comes to Chinese food.
Price wise it’s a great bang for your buck, the dim sum is perfect for more budget friendly consumers.

Cafe Orient is a unique treasure in Ottawa. Its menu is cha chaan teng, a fusion of Cantonese comfort dishes with Western tweists that Hong Kong is famous for and is quickly disappearing in Canada. Great service, good value.
Cantonese style restaurant in Chinatown Ottawa. Great variety of food menu, taste good, fair market price for most of the food, friendly server, tidy and clean environment
DON'T BOTHER! Dumpy, dark HK cafe with overly oily dishes. Rice and noodles dishes are about $18/$19 each so about 1/3 more than other better Chinese restaurants. Dim sum menu is limited and size is smaller than real dim sum restaurants. Difficult to find even paid parking. Are these good reviews here fake?

Delicious authentic HK food with friendly staff with quick service. Ordered the baked pork chop tomato rice and satay beef vermicelli and the french toast, all staples of HK cuisine. Great bold flavours! Definitely would come again!
I love this place sm 😭 the wanton noodle soup that I've been looking for!
Just simply 100/100!
Authentic Hong Kong restaurant, definitely competitive with any local one in HK if not better, well done!
