We went to Canal Ritz as part of a bus tour and was pleasantly surprised. The restaurant is well designed in a wonderful location with beautiful views. I had the salmon and found it exceptional.

We held our 25th wedding Anniversary renewal ceremony there. Everyone and everything was wonderful. We go back as often as we can. Feb, 13th, 2023 Another wonderful meal. Hubby had the salmon, and I had the Canal Ritz sandwich with salad and house dressing. November 17th, 2025, we went back for lunch. My husband had the Salmon and I had the Chicken Parm. Both were excellent. My husband also had the caramel carrot cake which he really enjoyed. It was very nice seeing Khalil, and Chris once again. Our server was very attentive.

I hosted my husband's bd party on saturday and had lunch with 30 friends. Food was delicious and the service was flawless. Chris the manager is great to work with and very responsive. Have hosted several events there and always a great result.
Unfortunately for the second time the scallops in my seafood fettuccine were extremely overcooked hard little pucks. Not enough sauce. Our server was wonderful

Had a lovely experience yesterday, but were very confused to be told about extra charges on our bills (gratuity? service charge?) as I had assured my 5 friends that we would not have a service charge added as it would be illegal to do that without informing us in advance. No mention when I reserved, no signs visible, nothing on the menu. Always uncomfortable to find a restaurant unable to follow basic legal requirements - what other rules are they ignoring?

Sadly not vegan friendly - paid $40 for a gluten free pizza with no cheese. Friendly staff though that tried to accommodate.
