It was a busy Friday lunch period so the ambience felt a little loud and crowded and service was slow and not as attentive as it could have been. The food was fantastic though and we outstayed the crowd so it felt like our own place towards the end. I have never been disappointed here!

Great Italian food, can't go wrong with any of the pastas! Good vegetarian options. Also loved the Arancini appetizer. We had a 4pm reservation and were seated in the private dining space so it was a bit quieter... but I would imagine it can get pretty loud once the tables fill up.

The food was delicious. Focaccia was beautiful and the pasta dishes were cooked just how we like them. The service was very so-so. When we checked in the young guy at the front seemed really disinterested in welcoming us to the restaurant. He barely grunted to us. The waitress was nice, but when we asked questions she raced through her answers so quickly we couldn't follow what she was saying. My dinner partner asked her to recommend a vegetarian dish and the waitress recommended all the mains on the menu including the meat dishes. We weren't very impressed with her.

The pasta was 100% worth it! Everything was delicious, I personally didn't enjoy the grapefruit on the panna cotta but I admit that it was objectively good. If you are going for a date though, the bar might be a better option, because with the music and the noise, the tables might set you a bit far apart if you want to talk. No complaints. 9.8/10!
It was fantastic... there weee six of us. Ordered all kinds of tasty treats. I had the scallops risotto - it was divine. All six of us were so thrilled - we immediately planned our next trip back! As the service - it was nothing short of exceptional.

My party of two had a delightful evening at Cantina Gia. It appears to be a popular neighbourhood restaurant. We went on a Tuesday night and the place was busy. We had Calamari as a starter. As main courses, we had Creste Rigate & Sausage and Canestri & Ragu alla Nona. All dishes were expertly prepared, very tasty and portions generous. This restaurant is highly recommended for a nice, casual evening out. As it is a busy place, diners must be prepared for a higher than average noise level.

Perfect family dinner for my Mom's birthday. Everybody loved their meal (6 adults and a toddler) Drinks, wine, appetizers and mains were all perfect - had shared apps and salad, and tried a few pastas along with the steak and chicken and the potato sides. Every single dish was excellent, they were even able to accommodate a toddler version of cacio peppe for our 3 year old guest (no pepper - lots of cheesy noodles!) we all agreed we will be back for the next special family celebration.

After being told that there was only bar availability, we wanted to place an order for take-out instead, but we were refused take-out service because “the kitchen is too busy” during the advertised daily take-out hours (around 12pm). The staff did not offer or invite us to place a table reservation for a later time or different date. The hostess was unwelcoming, treating us like an inconvenience, we respectfully walked out. The food is likely good but they didn’t want our business.
