Best Thai food in Ottawa! Spicy pad Thai is delicious

Tooba Arshad

Best Thai restaurant in Canada! Everything that we ordered was freshly made and had an amazing taste! When we’ll visit Ottawa again this is going to be our first stop!

The food is amazing. Hands down the best Thai food I have had in Canada. The helping was also a lot.

The restaurant is not fancy but the food is amazing.

I surely will come again once I visit Ottawa.

Simple location. The food was great. We are not locals but will definitely eat again when in the region.

Food is always good but I don’t recommend their pickup option… I was told it would be ready in 30 minutes but when I arrived 30 minutes late it still wasn’t ready! I waited another 15 minutes for my food. Suggest using a delivery service because of the confusion/bad organization at the pickup location.

The chicken panang curry was phenomenal!

I literally just finished eating the BEST Tom Kah Goong (shrimp) soup with an extra of vegetables. It was a generous portion of tasty, just right spicy soup made with coconut milk and super fresh ingredients.

It brought a tear to my eye ?

This is my new regular spot when I’ll visit Ottawa.

The best Thai food take out in town, the spicy chicken wings are made perfect. Pineapple rice…impeccably seasoned and the panang curry is so delicious.

Used to come here OFTEN about 5-6 years ago. Recently got 2 shrimp pad thai and a beef pad thai. The shrimp pad thai had 4 shrimp in the entire dish. We laughed about it, thinking it was a mistake, but then we checked the other, and nope! With 4 shrimp and very minimal vegetables, we paid about 20$ each padthai for mostly a plate of noodles (albeit decently noodles). Beef pad thai was in a very similar state.

Really should think about distribution. It may sound like a minor gripe, but it's made a recurring customer not continue with your business. I loved your food, reminded me of my time in thailand.

Hope this helps. In this restaurants current state, i can't recommend it. A few years ago? Absolutely!

Have a good day

I always love the food at Champa but there is one chef in particular who always takes it to the next level. Whomever was cooking tonight, Aug 29, you are a blessing and I love you. The pad-se and panag go hard.

The green curry was ok.

The pad thai (with veggies and tofu) tasted like the noodles and peanuts had been sitting way past expiry. Overall tasted like the food was in old oil used for meat and microwaved after going bad.

Also, the menu showed that the green curry and pad thai were both $1 less than I was charged. When I asked, I was told it was the system.
