Best place in town for value, quality, meaningfulness, and friendly staff & atmosphere. The retail staff are part of the community and they go above and beyond to make every meal a delight with a very broad and democratic clientele of locals of all kinds: students, retirees, embassy staff, homeless, professors, parents/families, and everyone else you can imagine. A magical place in Ottawa.

The lady at cash was very rude and dismissive( the dark skin lady) , the older lady had great customer service she went above and beyond.I realized I was short on cash so I told her I would be back in 5 minutes that I just needed to go grab my debit card . I got back and the lady serving the food had already given it away to someone else as she thought I was not going to pay . I heard her talking to the lady at cash at that point . Just an FYI maybe train your staff not to speak so loud about customers when they are standing there .if they don't like they're job maybe look somewhere else where you don't work with the public. Other than that the food is usually always great , just some of the staff need to be retrained on respect. This was at the Rideau location. Tuesday Nov.19 @ around 1 pm .

Chef Ric's catered our wedding. They did a phenomenal job. The food was amazing - one thing that was SO delicious was the pulled carrot sliders - and I'm not even vegetarian. The food was delivered discreetly and quietly during speeches and the waiters and chefs who came were so efficient, polite and kind. We appreciated that we could donate the leftovers to the Mission - made it much easier for clean up and we were happy to support the Mission. Thanks so much Chef Ric's I'll be recommending you to everyone I know!

We ordered boxed lunches from Chef Ric’s Catering for our CHEO Research Institute family volunteers picnic today, and they were perfect! The egg salad was my personal favorite! They did a fabulous job labeling each box according to our dietary needs. Ordering was easy and smooth, pickup was a breeze, and the price fit perfectly within our budget. We will definitely use them again and highly recommend to other organizations!
