This is one of THE best brunch places in Ottawa. We went for my mom's birthday and had such an amazing experience. It is a very welcoming environment, the staff is so kind, and our server was so thoughtful and really kind and warm. That's even before talking about the food, which is next-level!! I can see why there is always a lineup to get a table here, because there really is nothing like it. I will be going again!

Got brunch on a weekday and the service, food, and overall vibe were incredible. Can't wait to go again and try even more of their delicious options!

Great menu as always. Nice that they have moved to a much bigger venue with a nice waiting room. Easier to have conversations here, as the concrete walls in the last location made things very loud. Love the new set up. Street parking is available.

Very expensive, pretty good though. Bit of a wait but turnover was pretty fast. Service was on the slow side probably due to how busy they were... Food and cocktails are on the expensive side, which is pretty standard for eating anywhere in this area. $4 additional charge for drip coffee is pretty wild though... Somewhat offset by free refills I guess.

Solid breakfast/brunch meal that’s a little different than typical offerings! Although my choice of jerk plantains and mango salsa was not gonna pair with my pancakes I HAD to try it and they were so good. Will definitely have it with a savoury main next time. Fresh squeezed OJ was nice too.

Wonderful spot with a warm, cozy atmosphere. The servers are attentive, knowledgeable, and truly understand the menu. The food is exceptional, unique, flavorful and consistently delicious. Hard to beleive I hadn't discovered this place sooner.

Everything is great except for the wait - that is a 1/5 star. You should take reservations!

The vibe at Chesterfield’s Gastro Diner is 70s eclectic. With floral print couches, bright orange seats, and a muted blue & orange psychedelic like wallpaper, nothing seems to match, yet everything still goes.

The food here is incredibly tasty, but unexpected at the same time with creative dishes like a jerk chicken eggs benny served on cornbread and a fully loaded avocado (like a fully loaded baked potato but with an avocado instead).

Great service and food was delicious 😋
