I've been on the hunt for a toasted marshmallow ice cream for close to two decades and after a quick google, saw that Chris' had this as a flavour but was out of stock! In a panic, I emailed Chris who very promptly responded letting me know that he was working on a new batch. I think I can honestly say that the toasted marshmallow ice cream was probably the closest to capturing the magical taste of a toasted marshmallow in all of Ottawa! Also highly recommend the watermelon sorbet. Thank you Chris for helping a girl out!!
Edit: have since picked up the ferrero rocher and mango sorbet, and can confirm that Chris seems to have the ability to perfectly translate flavours into ice cream-from. Incredible!!!

best ice cream in Ottawa and I have cycled this entire city twice going to all ice cream places. we bought 5 flavours and they are all amazing! roasted pineapple sorbet is my favorite. I only discovered this place today and now I need to keep going.

I went with my father today, and I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised by the delicious ice cream! I had the roasted pineapple sorbet, which fell on the sweeter side. Although I would have preferred it to be more tart, the texture was amazing.
Tons of flavour selection, all small batch, all delicious. Chris is a truly exceptional maker and an all around great human. Thanks for bringing so much wonderful ice cream into my life!

Visited the store after reading so many great reviews about this place and I'm making a conscious effort to support local businesses. Was only able to try 2 flavours as all they had was lemon, moon mist, and rum raisin (did not buy that one). It was about 1:30pm when I entered the store. No one seemed to be in there except for me but eventually a man wearing a face mask came out. No greeting, no hello, no how can I help you. I found that really off putting. He spoke once I got to the cash and asked if there were any other flavours available. He replied no what's out is what they have. Ok fine. The ice cream was great, texture was creamy. I really liked the moon mist as did my family. I spent 28$ on 4 containers. They were the small ones you can finish in one sitting. Overall I may go back to try more flavours, but word of advice to the owner, train your staff to greet customers. Customer service skills go a long way these days.

Hosted a big Corporate event this week spanning 2 days for a few hundred people. Chris's Ice Cream was a hit! I got amazing reviews on the ice cream from everyone. What people didn't see was all the support and customer service Chris gave behind the scenes leading up to the event. He was such a pleasure to work with leading up to the events.

Finally got the chance to try Chris’s Ice Cream and I was not disappointment! Wow! Wow! I love the smaller sizes so you get the try so many different kinds! So far! My favourites are Toasted Coconut & Ferraro Rocher! Can’t wait to try more!!
