We (2 of us) had tapas at on my birthday at club CIBC before the Oct 23rd Sens Flyers game (Sens won!!!) and had some tasty food and really great service. The shrimp starter was excellent: large fresh tasting shrimp on a bed or Napa cabbage with a spicy aioli was delicious. We ate most of the cabbage too: really great sweet and salty crunch. Then we ordered tapas and selected the French dip with homemade potato chips, pirogies and the poached cod. All the food was great and the server was very friendly and very attentive. We sat in a booth on the other side of the bar area so it was fairly quiet which was nice. I found the prices to be fine; especially for the CTC. We made a reservation for 4:30pm which gave us lots of time before the 7pm game. It was also next to the valet parking which was perfect. We would definitely dine there again before a game or event.

Not what it used to be when it was Club Red. Disappointed by food selection, pricing & overall service. Considering we were the only patrons in the restaurant, service was mediocre at best. Do not recommend.

We had dinner here, this is our second time visiting. This time we booked our reservation for earlier, 1.5h before show time, so our dinner selections could come out slower (and not all at once). Each dish came out hot, and we didn't feel rushed. We enjoyed them all, the pierogies and shrimp were stand outs. I do find it's a lot of food, but value for the price is there. Our server was very attentive and accommodating. Only wish that there were more wine by the glass selections. There was a few standard options but they were the basics and to pay 20$ for a glass of wine, I want to try something new.

Really cool restaurant but ordered the 3 tier chef small plate dinner. All 3 of your selected dishes come at the same time so it was extremely overwhelming to try and eat it while it was still warm. We had 6 dishes between my husband and I. Three of them were mediocre at best. Not a fine dining experience. It was fancier arena food.

There are ample Park and Ride locations in Kanata/Ottawa where you can park for free and take public transportation at a minimal cost. The nice thing about public transportation out of and into the Canadian Tire Center is the city buses have a separate exit. While people are waiting to get out of the paid parking at the Arena you are already out of the area after taking the city bus a short 5 minute bus ride away to the terry fox transfer station at the Centrum shopping center after your event. If you haven’t parked there you can transfer to the area you parked or uber at a dramatically reduced cost. The city of Ottawa has many park and ride locations if you are coming to the arena for an event. Public transportation and pedestrians are given priority immediately after events so keep this in mind when choosing to park at the CTC. The arena staff are very helpful and friendly. 5stars. The area is generally very safe compared to other big events but remember to be aware of your surroundings. My only complaint is the lax enforcement of smoking or vaping during certain events. A hockey game wouldn’t have the venue in a cloud of smoke, nor would it be tolerated by fans, but certain concerts it is ignored. Keep this in mind when bringing children to concerts. The concessions are very expensive . The most cost effective concessions would be hot dogs, popcorn in a refillable cup, soda in a refillable cup. You can refill the popcorn and soda multiple times. Great to remember if you are going with kids to a family friendly event. Bring baggies. Sharing is caring.

Really enjoyed our meal here before the game. Tacos & fish were great and the steak was good. I would not recommend the chicken sliders as they were quite chewy and didn’t possess the same quality as the other dishes.

Waited forever to get a meal before the Sens game. People sat down after us and were getting their food. Very disappointed. Also the chicken wings were not fully cooked.

We had the Valentines Day meal before the Sens vs Flames game and had an issue with the meal that was quickly resolved by server and management. Very impressed thank you.

My wife and I ate there before the Sens game on a Saturday night. It was a nice place to eat and different from the usual pub food.I had a seafood pasta and she had short ribs. Both were excellent. All the staff were great.A little bit pricey but to be expected. If you want a good mean in a nice environment before an event, check it out.

$58.00 + taxes for buffet before Michael Buble concert Oct 14th in Ottawa, for the choice of an appetizer, the buffet was medium rare roast beef, the chafing stainless steel containers to keep food warm were left open so food was COLD, there was cauliflower , white rice, mushy french fries, small cutup potatoes with zuchinini, roasted chicken and sausage pasta. Our waiters had 2 tables total of 24 people and my friend and I. They offered us free dessert. We had gone to Mandarin Chinese Buffet and it was much tastier and 1/2 the price. TOTAL rip off. Informed the waiter and hostess.
