So glad we stumbled upon this gem! The quality of the baked goods is wonderful and the customer service was FRIENDLY! hard to find great customer experience these days. All staff had a smile on their face! The bread and nice young lady at the counter made us want to return. 10/10 highly recommend.

First time visit, staff was very helpful, patient and cheerful. Place smelled phenomenal. Prices are really great and the products themselves are delicious! I will be going there for bread from now on!

Got a great bread here, but most of their baked treats lack flavor. Definitely overhyped, but at least the staff were really friendly
Just had a chocolate crostini and it’s mostly air with a tiny bit of chocolate inside. What a rip off!! Plus the girl was going to give me the vanilla ones and I had to tell her I ordered the chocolate ones.
Also got 2 loaves of cinnamon bread and a slice of pizza almost cost me $40!!

I heard about Cobs from a friend and she bought some sweet apricot buns for me. Yummy . Then I found s store near me. The service and the atmosphere was great in this store
I bought a white crusty loaf that was fresh and smelled great. That day I had two slices and they were lovely . But within two days they were quite dry even though I keep the bread in a sealed plastic bread container in my fridge. I then toasted them and these were ok though the toast had a quite brittle texture even at a light setting. ….similar issues with the sourdough later. Again when absolutely fresh this was very good. but didn’t last. I presume because of no preservatives … but even then … two days? Perhaps. Smaller loafs would be good for smaller households?!
Most disappointing.
I will go back for the scones and dessert loafs but not the bread.

I was looking for a good sourdough bread and I think I’ve found my neighborhood bakery. The breads I picked up are made with natural sourdough and have that typical tangy flavor I love. The crumb is airy and beautifully open, which is quite unusual for a sandwich loaf. On the palate, the chew is generous, with great elasticity and consistency in the crumb — you can tell the baker really masters his craft. A wonderful discovery, and I can’t wait to try the other products. Another big plus is the warm welcome: I had a great chat with the baker and her colleague, both of whom were really friendly.

Our family has been going to Cob’s since they opened here in Ottawa. The staff is always friendly and they know their products well. The products are always fresh and have awesome flavour. We love the fact they donate any left over items to local charities. A sold 5/5!
