Coconut lagoon is from far, the best Indian restaurant menu I’ve tried in Ottawa. The service is fast,starting from the manager ( I guess) to the waiters, they are all friendly and ready to assist. The restaurant is cozy, perfect for a calm date in a good ambience; The food is sooo good but most important, yo do not have to wait long to eat !!!!! The mocktails are PERFECT! I truly recommend this place , it’s worth it.

This restaurant was out of my comfort zone as I don't like strong curry so I tend to avoid Indian food but this restaurant is amazing. The food was really good and the service was exceptional!

Upon inquiring about HALAL option, they say we serve HALAL here, but upon further investigation couldn’t produce HALAL certificate.
Be aware if you dine in for Halal option please don’t just take the word, ask for Certificate.

My husband and I enjoyed a wonderful dinner at Cocnut Lagoon. We shared two appetizers, devoured two main courses and had dessert. It was my husband's birthday so they had a little treat for him. I enjoyed delicious salmon moilee and my husband had the pepper lamb. Service was prompt and courteous. I appreciated the helpful explanations on portion size and whether or not dishes were spicy. Portion size was just right. We went to the Coconut Lagoon on a Thursday night; it was not noisy and not crowded. This was our second visit. We enjoyed the flavours, portion size, and great service.
We went for lunch and everything was delicious. The service was excellent and we could not have been more pleased with our experience. We highly recommend this establishment! Can't wait to go back! Emily our waitress was fanrastic!

Had a great evening there, great service and the food was amazing, had the chili seared sea scallops, crab cakes and samosas to start then butter lobster masala and the chicken mappas everything was amazing. Highly recommend.

We had a dinner reservation on 3rd November at 7:30 pm. I was looking forward to eating Avial when the wait staff told me that they had run out of it. I was disappointed. When the same wait staff came with our drinks, I asked her politely how can a high end restaurant run out of Avial at 7:45 pm. She replied that the restaurant was closed the next day. I expressed my disappointment as I am a vegetarian. She went to the kitchen and informed me that Avial will be ready in 15 .mts. All this drama could have been avoided by the restaurant. If I had not been persistent....no Avial for me. The Avial was delicious when it arrived. I thanked the wait staff. However, this not so good review by me could have been easily avoided by the restaurant.
