Saturday night the restaurant is full and it is very noisy i.e. almost impossible to talk to people across the table. The food as usual is excellent. Tables near the door get cold air every time the door opens. Our waitress had a low voice and strong accent so we had difficulty understanding her and she mixed up the order so she may have had trouble due to the noise level understand us?

Excellent food! Service was a little clunky, but the Maitre D' was doing a good job. A couple bussers, to pour water and clear tables, would be a good idea. The ambience was very nice, and the Kerala cuisine was fantastic. The lamb shank was our favorite dish.

I just wanted to share my thoughts on a fantastic restaurant I recently visited in Ottawa. I have to say, it easily ranks among the best dining experiences I've had in the city. From the moment I walked in, the service was impeccable. The staff were attentive, friendly, and made sure every detail was just right. Not only was the service top-notch, but the prices were also very reasonable considering the quality of the food and the overall experience. And speaking of the food – it was simply amazing! Each dish was beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. I can't recommend this place enough to anyone looking for a great meal in Ottawa. If you're ever in the area, you should definitely check it out. Trust me, you won't be disappointed!

My partner (from Halifax) and I (from Ottawa) went to celebrate his birthday. He has exceptionally high culinary standards, and he was not disappointed! We had the 7 course tasting menu experience, which I highly recommend. The flavours are extraordinary and the service flawless. Coconut Lagoon is probably my favourite Ottawa restaurant. It never disappoints. I give it all the stars!

My sister and I had dinner on December 26. We've been here many times and each visit in the past has been lovely. Service and food did not disappoint. We normally order vegetarian and meat dishes, however the Avial we ordered this time was not what was expected. It consisted of a variety of vegetables which were overcooked and mushy. Not enjoyable. Will not be ordering it in the future. All other dishes were delicious and overall we had a wonderful meal. Highly recommend.
Our waitress was awful. She never checked on us. When taking away my appetizer plates she reached over in front of me. The food was outstanding!!!!

This was our second time going and it was a good meal, although we felt the value was not quite there. We had the chefs meal and everything was good but the wine pairing was a bit overpriced. The service was excellent. The other minor issue was the residual smell of the food on our clothes which was VERY strong and required dry cleaning for everything we wore that evening.

Coconut lagoon is from far, the best Indian restaurant menu I’ve tried in Ottawa. The service is fast,starting from the manager ( I guess) to the waiters, they are all friendly and ready to assist. The restaurant is cozy, perfect for a calm date in a good ambience; The food is sooo good but most important, yo do not have to wait long to eat !!!!! The mocktails are PERFECT! I truly recommend this place , it’s worth it.
