We have probably eaten at the Coconut Lagoon over 150 times in the past 30 years. Right from the start the quality of the dishes was superb. The longevity and success of the restaurant speaks for itself. This is one of those restaurants where the address may put a first-timer off, but I can assure you that you will return again and again. Without doubt you will eat the best south Indian meals available in Canada.
Coconut Lagoon never disappoints. The food is outstanding and the people, equally outstanding. whenever I'm asked for a recommendation for authentic Indian food, I send people straight to Coconut Lagoon and/or Thali. Chef Joe Thottungal continues to create magic. This is my go to restaurant in Ottawa, hands down.
Wow, what an incredible evening! From the warm and attentive service to the delicious food and perfectly crafted cocktails, everything was top-notch. Our waitress was exceptionally kind and took the time to explain each dish we ordered. If you're looking for a great spot to enjoy a memorable night out, this is definitely the place to be,
