Cocotte has wonderful ambiance and I was delighted with the service. Having reserved for a special event beforehand, we were truly given the 5-star treatment. It was my niece who chose this venue for lunch, and I am glad she did!

Very disappointing experience. The food was extremely poorly made, one dish was so over-grilled that they became bitter and almost impossible to eat. This was unacceptable matching their price. There was absolutely no service. We were in the restaurant for nearly three hours, and not a single staff member came to check on us or ask whether we were satisfied with our meal. No one helped clear the plates, so our already crowded table was full of empty dishes stacked on top of each other. One friend who arrived late was never even asked if she wanted to order a drink. The environment was also extremely loud and uncomfortable. Overall, a terrible experience. We will definitely not be returning.

Went 2 days in a row.. such a cute space with great food. We were in town visiting family and our waitress was Penny I believe and she was very kind. Sunday was busier and service was slower but still a great experience.

We had a great experience overall but the server had forgotten the birthday dessert and then did not come back after the bill was brought

Poulet sauce meunière was floating in a tremendous amount of sauce. More like a soup than what the dish should be Coquilles st Jacques had 4 tiny scallops for a whopping 58$ Service was ok, a bit slow filling our water glasses. Noise level was very very loud Desserts were tasty

One meal (Gnocchi) was quite nice. The other meal (Lentils) was rather bland, dry and not terribly interesting. We would have the Driving Cocktails again. The noise level was not relaxing. My biggest issue was carts of dishes being tracked through the restaurant from the bar to the kitchen. Plus big bottles of water being tracked between the kitchen & bar. The staff were friendly and quite lovely. The path to the washroom appeared to be blocked off due to a special gathering. I felt like I was invading their space by sneaking past the velvet cord to get to the stairs to the washroom.

Beautiful spot. Valued not being interrupted, and having seamless wait staff. It did take a very long time to get our latte, over 25 mins, but the food was fabulous and made up for the wait. thankfully we were not in a rush and had time to enjoy the space among our friends.

Can be very noisy at lunchtime-it quietens down after 1:30. My onion soup was good but not very hot. Service was fair- not terribly quick.

Cedric was so fantastic and efficient and kind and accommodating. Thank you Cedric. For a Monday evening the place was very very busy. Cedric was everywhere. The food was DELICIOUS...There was an unusual wait for our orders but we were generously compensated by getting free desserts and Wine.

Loved this place! The food was amazing — compliments to the chef. The dishes were beautifully presented and the portions were generous. Our server was friendly and took the time to walk us through the menu options. The bistro is a great spot to visit any time of day, with so much variety. We were celebrating my son's birthday, and the server surprised us with a complimentary dessert and even sang happy birthday. Wonderful experience!

Beautiful decor, lovely atmosphere where you can have a conversation without yelling - great ambiance. The service was very average, our waitress did not offer to explain the menu or offer recommendations and could not speak to the few wines that were offered by the glass. Some of our dishes were very good and we would order again while others were disappointing. With a few tweaks to make all of their dishes top notch and with a focus on better service, this could be a restaurant I would go back to again and again.
