been in ottawa a while and have favourite ottawa tastes and experiences. i go here looking for Colonnade pizza and it delivers. if i was looking for exotic/experiential/new food, atmosphere or drinks i'd go somewhere else.

Needed to grab a bite to eat last night, and I have always been pleased with the other Colonnade locations, so I decided to give this one a try. It was a bit later in the evening, so the dinning room was not very busy. I was able to sear myself. The booth I chose was immaculate. Clearly they keep this place clean. Ordered a beer and small pizza. The beer came in a frosted glass so was nice and cold. Perfect! The pizza didn't take very long and was cooked to perfection and very tasty. The server was fantastic. She did a great job. Overall it was a good first experience at this location.

Was heading downtown to the Colonnade but the traffic was backed up at Woodroffe Avenue so decided to try the Carling location. Ended up being a very good decision. Italian salad and pizza as good, if not better, than downtown. Our server, Roman, was excellent. He provided great service and you can tell he enjoys what he does, many thanks. No more trips downtown!

They are by far one of the best pizza places in Ottawa. They literally ruined pizza for me because now I'm always holding other pizza places to their quality of pizza. Also to the server plz forgive me I'm bad at remembering names but you are a fabulous ray of sunshine. Always making the experience at Colonnade really great.

Met up with former colleagues for lunch. I ordered a small Caesar salad. There was romaine lettuce and 4 croutons. I asked for a slice of lemon. That would be .75. My colleague also ordered the same salad. She asked if the chef forgot the bacon. No, there is a charge of 1.50 for bacon. I asked for dressing on the side, and there was no charge for that
So, for $12.95, I got a bowl of lettuce and 4 croutons.
Needless to say, we won't ever go there. Carling Avenue location.
