Terrible customer service, overcharged me without explaining the charges. When I asked the woman about the breakdown of the charges she asked me if I wanna cancel my order. Restaurant was full of flies and wasps. Would not recommend and not coming back. Bagel was average at best.

Great little bagel / sandwich shop. Inside the ByWard market, bagels made fresh, lots of flavor and great price. Staff is friendly and helpful. I had the Smoked meat bagel sandwich and it was wonderful. Definitely recommend this place.

We happened upon this place while walking through the Byward market and we are so glad we did. The bagels are made right there and are SO GOOD. We went for lunch the first day and breakfast the next day. Excellent place to stop in and have a bite to eat.

I was only in Ottawa for a couple of hours on a solo adventure. I took myself to Montreal then took the long way home to Buffalo so I could experience Ottawa, even if for a few minutes, and then Kingston. I walked around Parliament Hill and then took to TripAdvisor to look for coffee at a cafe other than Tim Horton's (we have enough of those at home). TripAdvisor took me to George Street. I was immediately in love! So I stopped in the Byward Market and found Continental Bagel. DELICIOUS! I got a breakfast sandwich with "meat" on a herb cheddar bagel. I liked the bagel so much that I bought a dozen to bring home and put in my freezer. I also got some dessert thing, I'm not really sure what it was, but the edges were sprinkled with shredded coconut. SO GOOD!! Service was outstanding and quick. The man putting the bagels in the fire was especially smiley and happy. Made me wonder if he was the owner. Based on service and bagels alone, stop!! Definitely worth it!
Bagels are made right in front of you and have a variety of breakfast and lunch sandwiches to go as well as pastries. Every time the food has been tasty and now it’s one of my family’s favourite breakfast spots when they visit Ottawa.

My wife and I were walking on pedestrian area of Ottawa the night before and found this jem. Went next morning around 11am for breakfast. I had the Montreal smoked meat on 7 grain which was fantastic and tasted unlike the normal bagels I have had in past. My wife had the sesame bagel with cream cheese and she said it was great. My only complaint was that we wanted a coffee with cream and they had no cream. Everything tasted so good otherwise - I will certainly go back next time I am in Ottawa!

Baked in situ! Tried all the kinds and cheese is my favorite. Every morning bagels are freshly baked and hand made by the owner!

We were too late for any selection bit the bagels we got were good. Four stars because service was not great when we were standing there for a whole and they served two new people that just walked up before us.
