Great little bagel / sandwich shop. Inside the ByWard market, bagels made fresh, lots of flavor and great price. Staff is friendly and helpful. I had the Smoked meat bagel sandwich and it was wonderful. Definitely recommend this place.
We happened upon this place while walking through the Byward market and we are so glad we did. The bagels are made right there and are SO GOOD. We went for lunch the first day and breakfast the next day. Excellent place to stop in and have a bite to eat.
I was only in Ottawa for a couple of hours on a solo adventure. I took myself to Montreal then took the long way home to Buffalo so I could experience Ottawa, even if for a few minutes, and then Kingston. I walked around Parliament Hill and then took to TripAdvisor to look for coffee at a cafe other than Tim Horton's (we have enough of those at home). TripAdvisor took me to George Street. I was immediately in love! So I stopped in the Byward Market and found Continental Bagel....
