They have a very good brunch and dinners in a very nice and laid back and quiet atmosphere.

Came too late for the breakfast poutine, but had for lunch the buffalo chicken wrap and soup of the day (leek & potato etc). Everything was so packed with flavor!!! Partner got wings that came with these fantastic little homemade pickles! Would love to come back. A humble little gem great for lunch/breakfast. I also enjoyed the decorations, especially all the water themed paintings/photographs.

My friends and I used to be loyal patrons of Coopers for more than a year until we were deliberately confronted one evening by the head chef (and more bizarrely supposed head of hospitality). The incident that evening was shocking and the person involved was unprofessional and cantankerous in the way in the way they treated us. Typically we would sit on the patio daily because we had a dog with us. We would enjoy the good food and the servers never had issues with us during that time. We had previously requested that the music be turned off because a friend had a sound sensitivity, which was always accommodated by the staff and also never caused an issue. When confronted by the head chef, we were asked to leave and were told this would be our last meal at Coopers. (Also, this was the first time anyone at our table had met this individual in person) According to this person, the reason was a server or server(s) were not comfortable serving us in particular, which was amusing considering we had been there daily for more than a year without issue. His behaviour was inhospitable, deliberately unprofessional and unacceptable. No restaurant guest should be subjected to this kind of behaviour or experience.

The food wasn’t good. My meat was super undercooked and the sauce was the saltiest thing ever, I couldn’t eat it and had to send it back. The ribs were dry and sauce less. And it’s pricey too. Wouldn’t go here again.

Egg Benny is pretty good! Also, the server makes me comfortable? It may be a personal preference, but it will suit the taste of Koreans! It’s not salty!
I want to give Coopers the benefit of the doubt as the dinner and dessert my brother and I have had from them is delicious. Unfortunately, I cannot say the same for their breakfast. The service was lacking, as the waitresses presented disorganized and unsure of whose tables were who’s. After waiting 5 minutes to be acknowledged by our waiter after sitting down, she had assumed we were already taken care of. After informing her we hadn’t yet, she quietly brought us menus. She didn’t greet/welcome us, ask how we were, or tell us her name. Our table visibly hadn’t been wiped down as it was sticky and covered in hair and various stains. The cook forgot to add the bacon to my Mom’s breakfast order which she had asked for. I am sad to say, but I would not eat here again. It was not worth the quality, the service, or the price.
