We had lunch with friends. The place makes good food but they are a bit slow.

Terrific food and a great patio that’s off busy Elgin.

A surprising standout for a hotel restaurant, the staff are friendly, helpful and accommodating. The food genuinely impressed me, the club was far more flavourful than I expected and the fries were hot, fresh and well seasoned. The drinks were expertly prepared and the apple pie whiskey Sour definitely lived up to my expectations. Food was worth the wait and portions were great.

Came for dinner with a friend and I got the roasted turkey on sourdough. The sandwich was fine, but a little falling apart in it's construction. The caesar salad as a side was pretty good.
My friend got the Caprese flatbread which felt more like an appetizer and left her hungry, which for the cost was a little absurd for the portion. She ended up also ordering the wings which were much better.
The presentation in the photos and menu though make everything look much better than the reality of what was brought out. The service was also very slow, I believe there was only 1 server working which explains it and isn't her fault, but they felt very short staffed, and it took quite a while to get our orders in, get our drinks, and get the bill at the end.

I loved their shakshoka egg dish - very well prepared! The place is cozy and warm. Outdoor and indoor seating for all tastes! Located perfectly downtown and yet not too crowded.

A last minute decision to ditch our original breakfast place for Cooper’s turned out to be a good one.
We were looking for parking because all the spots were taken near the breakfast restaurant my husband and I wanted to go.
In our search we ended up at a parking right across from Cooper’s (and several minutes walk to our intended place —- on a chilly and windy morning, no less).
We noticed several tables were occupied inside Cooper’s, and it looks inviting. So we thought, “why not?”
In we went and glad we did.
Food and service are amazing. We’re definitely going back.

Long wait for food and drinks. I think an extra server on a Friday night would have made a huge difference. Otherwise pretty good location and tasty food.

We hadn’t planned to stop here, but after seeing so many people going in and out, we decided to give it a try—and we’re glad we did! The brunch menu doesn’t have a lot of options, but everything we ordered was delicious. We had the eggs Benedict, an omelette, and two coffees. Great taste and cozy atmosphere—definitely worth a visit!

We had the pleasure of dining at COOPERS, located inside the Embassy Hotel many times and it never disappointed! The service was always accommodating, the food was VERY FLAVOURFUL , fresh and for the prices in and around downtown Ottawa- we think it’s a really great deal. Exceptional service, especially to Audrey, who we encountered a bit more than others. All the staff are friendly . Seriously the food here was tremendous!!
We had breakfast, brunch ( exceptional!), chilaquiles wrap, wings ( sooo good with a kimchi slaw), Brussels sprout appetizer with cashews, steak, soup and sandwich specials, French onion soup ( a bit small portion for the price but loaded with everything you’d want in this ). The chefs really take pride in what they create and plate them attractively!

Came too late for the breakfast poutine, but had for lunch the buffalo chicken wrap and soup of the day (leek & potato etc). Everything was so packed with flavor!!! Partner got wings that came with these fantastic little homemade pickles! Would love to come back. A humble little gem great for lunch/breakfast. I also enjoyed the decorations, especially all the water themed paintings/photographs.
