Only one slice of French toast and wasn’t asked for a choice of meat. Just got bacon by default. French toast was very soggy. Every looked fine but aside from the strawberries, was average taste wise. Server was very complacent and didn’t offer a coffee refill until I asked for the bill.
Not worth the $30 price tag. Too bad Ottawa has so few good breakfast places.

We arrived and were seated right away, but not given menu’s. I waited over 15 minutes to get my menu, another 15 before she had the time to get our orders and we still had not been offered coffee.
The food came quick. But the syrup container came with ants and had dead ants inside.
Then we had to ask three times for the bill. She put the machines on the table said “thank you” and disappeared! The machine timed out so I had to wait for her to come back to pay.
The oddest part was that one of the other servers was not busy at all. She had a whole conversation with us about balloons and never once thought to offer us the coffee she was carrying around. She had mentioned that the host had not come to work that day so they were busy. But again, she was free enough to wander around while the other lady looked like she was serving the whole restaurant.

The restaurant is a bit outdated and needs a renovation at some point. Overall great service and good selection of breakfast/lunch items
Cora became our go to for breakfast when we visited Ottawa with our 8 and 10 year old. You can go wrong with breakfast food and I loved that the selection allowed for something everyone loves. The staff were so kind and attentive. Wish they were in our city so we can go back!
