Home fries are always undercooked just wedges of un seasoned potato's. This time i asked for the potatoes to be well done and they cooked my omelet well done. Eggs do not taste good well done. I've never been unable to eat something provided to me by a restaurant till now. Western omelet is my all time favorite breakfast and I've never heard of tomatoes being put in a western omelet. This is the first time I've ever felt the need to leave a bad review. Crazy

Dropped by for breakfast with my son (Dec 21,2024). There was a bit of a line up but 5 minutes in we were seated. The waitress shows up with the menus and instantly the smell of her strong perfume hit me like a ton of bricks. Another waiter passed by and again the fumes from his perfume just invaded my space. I ordered the Smoke Meat Poutine and my son ordered the breakfast poutine and a banana smoothie. If I was to rate the food, I'd give it less than one star. The dish that it was I served was chipped. Except for the egg which was well done, the cold béchamel over the grilled potatoes and cheese curds was hideous. During the whole time I was eating the smell of the perfume lingered. That combined with that awful dish I couldn't continue eating my breakfast. I called for the check and when she showed up that pungent odor hit me again. It's been three hours since I left there and that awful smell still haunts me. So much so I had to take a shower to chase it away. Where are the rules about wearing perfume in the workplace. There are policies where staff must not come to work wearing scents as there are people who have allergic reactions. For the $60 I spent, it was a huge disappointment and quite frankly it was overpriced. Shame on allowing your staff wear scents while serving tables. I was so offended I paid the exact amount due and left no tip. Concider this my last visit there.

Staff was very friendly. One of the few breakfast places these days that keep your cup filled with hot coffee without having to ask. This minor service seems to be a lost art these days.....it was noted and appreciated

Outside of the standard Cora atmosphere, this was a rough first-time experience. From the start, our menus were thrown at the table and no server approached us for 10-15 mins. I had to ask a server if we could order. We asked for water and never got it until a second request. Food arrived and wasn't all that tasty. Finally, come time to pay, we didn't even get a goodbye or anything until I initiated the cordial goodbyes. Overall terrible customer service by our server Nana

Ordered the early bird special for 10.95. It came with 2 eggs, 2 pieces of meat, some roast potatoes and a couple slices of toast. I don't know if that is considered a good deal in this day and age. I just thought it was ok. The food was just ok too. It came in less than 5 minutes so I figure everything was done in an assembly line/buffet style for them. The potatoes were luke warm. If I had a choice I would have gone with hash brown (I guess I didn't read properly as that's what I thought I was going to get). The sausages I had were ok too. Just warm as well. The eggs were the only thing hot and I do say done exactly the way I ordered them. Kudos on that as a lot of times they come way more cooked than I like. Oh I forgot, to garnish the plate they did give a couple slices of tomatoes. They were kind of pasty/mushy tasting so I only took one bite of them. I probably rather they put a couple pieces of fruit, but maybe that costs too much. The coffee I ordered was just ok too. It didn't seem too hot. The server did come around a couple times to refill, which was good (we weren't there for that long). Service was quick and reasonably friendly. They are just trying to get you in and out I think. If you want more made-to-order I think you are better off to order from the regular menu. I would expect that to be much better. If you are in a hurry, and don't expect the world, then the early bird will get you in-and-out super fast!
