Brought the family here for Father's Day. The service was amazing. We had the nicest server who kept my coffee topped up. The food, however, was awful. My crepe tasted burnt and the bacon had a weird taste. My wife's crepe also had a burnt tasted to it. Not sure if the griddle isn't being cleaned or what, but there's a disconnect between the kitchen and the front of the house.
Thankfully I've had great food before at this location so I'm assuming it's a just a one-off.

Please don't give the grumpy lady an early morning shift. She is rude, unkind, and sarcastic. She is definitely unhappy to work in the mornings. Nobody wants to start their day dealing with a person like that. I visited Friday early morning and it kind of ruined my day.

Dam what a disappointment for a Cora restaurant. The entrance was not very welcoming, the grout on the floor tiles we dirty and greasy. The booth I was at had stains on the backing and had seen better days. The table across from me had laminate missing on the side. Don't get me started on the restrooms. Dam is there no standards anymore, the only good thing was the server, who was very friendly.
Update... the restaurant had some interior renovations. Big improvement very clean and updated seating. Bathroom improved but needs better cleaning.

Very nice restaurant. Exquisite presentation. The potatoes are clearly prepared in the kitchen, not frozen. Not my favourite sausages nor bacon, but the hollandaise has a very nice touch.

The service staff were great, however the food was atrocious. This was supposed to be a drizzle on the waffle, however it was cold and had a clumpy lard like substance. I am by no means a picky eater, I tried and just couldnāt. My whole plate came out cold, the bacon was old, cold eggs, and clumpy, cold, lard like substance for āDrizzleā. This place used to be great. However, the quality of the food is honestly shocking now. I still got charged for this cold pile of crap lmao.
They need to fire whoever thought that plate was ready for service. Will not be coming back to this location ever again. As of right now I can only recommend the Westboro location. Stay far away from Alta vista.
Oh one more thing there was a delicious hair in my girls waffle. They took the cold hairy waffle back and sent out a warm one that was actually decent, and appeared to be free of hair.

I'm a Cora's fan through and through. I had not been to this location before. It was a good experience almost equal to my neighbourhood Cora's in Orleans, which to me is the best so far. However, this location comes close!
