Finally went here are living nearby for a year. The taco was fine but definitely not $10.75 good. The pork was kind of dry and I'm not sure if there were beans as listed - rather small amount of filling for the price. Also got the jamaica which was good. Service was great, very kind staff.

Honestly the chicken tacos were mid. May as well have been boiled chicken. Very disappointing given the high rating. Cover the tacos in salsa and forget that each one is 10$

Corazon De Maiz was my first meal in Ottawa, and it didn’t disappoint. The beef soft tacos were delicious, packed with way more meat than expected—no need for extra! Prices are a bit high, but the quality and portion size make it worth it. Friendly staff, too. Highly recommend if you’re looking for authentic, hearty Mexican food with great service! Will definitely return!

My favorite restaurant in ottawa!!! I'm already in love with everything Mexico and Mexican food, but I can assure you that this place is as authentic as you can get. I had the burrito bowl, tacos (both pork), and the horchata. All of them were 1000000%%%!!! Super fresh avocados, spice was on par- and friendly staff (ordered my good in Spanish lol) and jamming reggaton playing in the background. Loved it so much 🙏

Best Mexican food after so long, I would say this is the best mexican food place in Ottawa. They have some special sauce, those just blew my mind; “Jalapeño Garlic” and “Brava”. Must try those if you are into spicy sauces.
I think I will be regular in this place.

Food was very expensive for the small portion sizes, got a medium burrito and it was the size of my thumb. Hot sauces were great but aside from that food was okay, soup and burrito bowl were a bit of a let down.

Stopped by for a nostalgic meal at Corazon de Mais which I frequented during my university days. Ordered the large nachos with beef with an extra side of guac for almost $30. Price definitely went up but we enjoyed the nachos and was able to finish it all in one sitting with my husband. The chips were freshly deep fried, lots of meat, cheese and gave us free sour cream.
