Parking lot can take the bottom of your car out. Be careful. Owners need to budget for this

A little hidden gem! Reminded me of the “hole in the wall” restaurants I really enjoyed going to with my family throughout my childhood. Excellent food and lovely service! Portions were great.

this is in reply to owner asking about my low rating, Here is my explanation.Breakfast eggs were ok but surprisingly small, rye toast was quote black and dry and overdone. Potatoes were also partly black and were over fried. . Bacon was also too crispy. . Perhaps the cook had a bad morning?. I didn’t ask for onions on my potatoes. That was good but I wasn’t told that’s an extra 50c.The final balance with tip was surprisingly high. Around 16.00. ( I don’t have the receipt anymore )Service was friendly and great.

I was so looking forward to come to this little restaurant. But I was quite disappointed.: The service is excellent and charming. The food: I had the breakfast special 1. Two eggs with bacon, cottage fried potatoes and rye toast. Plus coffee of course. $11.99. A bit more than I expected as I had a similar breakfast elsewhere a week ago for 8.99. The coffee was very good then it went downhill from there. Eggs over easy. It was a bit overdone and was surprisingly small eggs.. the rye toast was black and hard and over toasted. .The fries were also overdone and partly blackish , but quite tasty and crispy and surprisingly had onions in them. I wasn't told there is a 2$ surcharge for breakfast after 11:00 but the server kindly gave me the meal for the 11:99. Plus taxes and tip. 16:50 . Hmmm (she also took the surcharge of the onions off )I'd love to go back and see if the other guest ratings were real and this breakfast was a bit unusual. I may just do that. Ambiance: dingy. Few tables. Typical old fashioned 'greasy spoon' but I didn't mind that!

My favourite breakfast place! I love spots like this that are out of the way. The food is great and the atmosphere reminds me of my small hometown. The staff is always super friendly and helpful, and so far I've loved everything on the menu. I bring everyone I can to this spot!

Classic style diner experience. Awesome service. One of those rare gem experiences that are being drowned out by big corporations. Go here and eat. Everything is awesome.
