I have eaten at many Haitian restaurants in Ottawa, and Creole Sensations has the best food! Everything is delicious, but the djondjon rice and cabrit are exceptional.

Rice and beans have no flavour. Tiny meat from the oxtail and I got charged 23$ dollars. There was literally little meat. Plantain is dry and thin as paper. They really rip me off, I just wanted to support my people. This is sad to see business running like that. Ladies at the front desk have no customer service. They seem lazy and bothered by everything. Not coming back for sure.

DO NOT EAT HERE! this was the worst experience I’ve ever had. I got ripped off on the debit machine transaction for 55$ they manually type in a 35$ tip for her self and when I noticed and showed her proof she refused to give me back my money , and to top it off the food was trash they gave us left overs that were extremely dry the goat and chicken were both dry the worst food I’ve ever eaten let alone paid for. It wasn’t bad enough that she stole from me but the food was horrible. they are THEIFS don’t ever go eat here !!

I thought it was really good. The meat was overcooked but you have to remember that is how they cook it in Caribbean countries. Lots of flavor, the meat gravy was really good.

This is my favorite Haitian resto. The only problem is the macaroni is always spoiled. I love it with the plate all together so I get disappointed when I open it and it smells spoiled or like it isn’t kept refrigerated. All of the food on the menu is excellent I have never been disappointed with my whole meal just the macaroni. I hope the owner sees this and makes a change I don’t have the heart to tell them in person because they are so nice. I eat or order weekly and won’t change this in 2024. All the best in the new year!

The djon djon rice was dry (good flavour though), plantains were cooked perfectly but tasted like they were fried in old oil. I’ll give the restaurant another try in the future because it seems authentic, and the staff are very kind. Hoping it was just a one-off
