I ordered dinner for our family of 6 adults for a celebration and everyone raved about the lasagna, the chicken, and the caesar salad! I had enough for 6 hearty adult portions, and leftovers of 3 more servings….All for $200.00. That’s about $30.00 / person, which is outstanding value for the quality of the food snd the great experience! Best Lasagna in town! Highly recommended! ***** 5 stars!

We went to Cucina da Vito this evening. Reservations were for seven. We were there on time and seated shortly afterwards. From that point onwards the wait began. We waited 30 minutes for someone to take our drink order and another 30 minutes for them to take our food order. It was another hour and a half before we got our food. In that time no one came to our table to explain the wait, so after a considerable length of time I flagged down the waitress to ask when we might expect our dinner. She said “it’s coming”.
The food was good (once we got it). I am not usually one to complain as I know people are busy, but a 21/2 hour wait for dinner seems excessive. Unfortunately this is the second time this has happened to me at this restaurant. Not sure if I will go back.

I would not suggest eating there if you enjoy quality service. I was very excited to enjoy a good meal at Cucina da Vito as it came highly recommended to me. Unfortunately I had the worst service I’ve ever received. We were forgotten about, to the point when the food was brought to us they offered parm and pepper to which they said they would be right back. We never saw our server again until after we had finished our dessert. After waiting at least 10 mins for our parm and pepper, we had to physically get up and ask someone get it. By that time our food was cold and not very tasty. Very disappointing.
When our server did come back after we had finished dessert, she practically threw our bill and candy at us and walked away, never to be seen again. The girl that sat us took our payment. I’ve never not tipped before but I felt this treatment deserved it!!! I even told the girl taking the payment that it was the worse service from the server and nothing was even offered to make it better.

Everything was fine overall. Prices as usual are on the high side for what you get. The only negative for me is that the Linguine Al Frutti Di Mare which we both had, only had one scallop in it...a bit skimpy for a $36 dollar plate.

Our group called ahead to ask whether they could accommodate a large group with a few allergies, which they assured us was no problem. Service was extremely slow, waitress said it was our fault for ordering so many dishes with allergy restrictions.
One dish had to be sent back for being extremely salty, and again staff argued with us, saying the chef disagreed that the dish was too salty.
A wonderful hidden gem in Orleans! The house made pasta is absolutely delicious—we tried the mushroom pappardelle and a chicken special with rosé sauce, and both dishes were great! Jennifer was friendly, funny, and gave recommendations that made our experience even better. Highly recommend! :)
Very good food and great service. We celebrated our anniversary with dinner there and it was perfect. The atmosphere was a very nice relaxed chic and the staff added the perfect touch. We will be back and I definitely recommend giving this restaurant a try !

Shared my 60th Birthday Celebration with close family and friends at Cucina Da Vito and we couldn’t have been happier with the choice of restaurant. Firstly Jennifer, the Manager, had the service organized to perfection!!! All the servers were so friendly and attentive and not to mention they delivered the most delicious food!!! We have had several meals at this wonderful Italian restaurant and have never been disappointed. The service, atmosphere and food is outstanding!! We are so thankful to Jennifer and her staff for making this night so special.

From the calamari appetizer to the fabulous tiramisu for dessert, the f ood was amazing, service quick and attentive (thanks Angie or Angelina? 😊) and atmosphere cozy. We will definitely be back. We were there for a friends birthday on Tuesday night. I have To say we were all impressed with our meals but the lights were too bright and they need to put real candles on the table and create a bit more atmosphere. We all felt like it was bright like a cafeteria. But have to say food was great!
