Not bad... But staff were not personable, and didn't seem like they wanted to interact with our table at all. There was no check ins during the meal, for refills of drinks or anything. We were in a corner so couldn't flag anyone down. Food was solid though.

This was our 3rd time at this restaurant. We went back because the first two times were great - great service, great food. This time wasn't the charm for sure. Waitress looked in a rush - never came back to ask how our food was or to fill our wine glasses. The boy at the door was new but was trying so hard and probably deserved a few extra stars for his smile. Carbonara was good but tasted more like alfredo with bacon than a true carbonara pasta. The veal was overcooked and hard - thank god the gravy was tasty. But our biggest disappointment was the shared plate of antipasto for $39. It was a bunch of rolled up deli meat and sliced cheese that looked like those they sell at costco, crostini and 2 pieces of artichoke and a few olives! I could have made that plate myself and save 30$. Anyway - too bad. We will remember the good times, but based on this one visit, we won't be back.

I was at Cucina last night. As you step in, the atmosphere is cozy and inviting. The chairs are super comfortable which is always a plus when you are enjoying a nice long relaxing dinner.
The service was prompt and friendly— our servers were attentive without being intrusive. We ordered a variety of dishes and they were all perfectly seasoned and cooked.
Cucina delivers on quality, service, and ambiance. Will definitely be back!

We have been here a few times and it never disappoints. I would say it’s one of the best Italian restaurants in the Ottawa region. The staff are always so welcoming and the atmosphere is great.
We have tried the tortellini alla panna which was delicious, we have also tried the pappardelle al porcini. We have also tried a few other things that were on special.

It was our first time dining at the restaurant. Our waitress, Katarina went above and beyond to make sure all of our needs were tended to. Friendly and knowledgeable, explained the specials, made recommendations! Fabulous! All of the servers were always making sure the restaurant was clean and the tables were cleaned quickly. The food was amazing! I had the Chicken Marsala which was incredible, and my husband had a pasta dish that was so delicious! We will definitely be going back!

Excellent food and service. Our server Mike was the best ever. He a were every question and was spot on. Meal was outstanding. The Calamari was absolutely the best i have had ever. Not exaggerating at all. Very pleased by our meal and service.
