This was great for breakfast service before a long day of meetings, The service was quick, the food was good, they had my favourite hashbrowns!

Great food and service a little too noisy for a business meeting. Perhaps have a section little more quiet without kids ?

The best thing here is the setting, a well lit, spacious and attractive room with a very interesting view. Our group had the buffet and ordered from the breakfast menu. Staff were pleasant but run off their feet, so coffee pot refills, hot water refills, dirty plate removal, had to be requested, instead of an organic part of the service. The buffet didn't offer a roast; the hot choices were eggs of several types, bacon, potatoes, tomatoes, asparagus; nice but not anything unique. I can make eggs Benedict or an omelette, and I know what back bacon looks like (staff confirmed ham was back bacon), which struck three of us as odd. Why not just say it's ham? The egg choice requested for one of us was incorrect and never materialized. The cold selection for the buffet was nice but not outstanding: fresh fruit, salad greens, yogurt parfait, smoked salmon, to name a few. The coffee was my favourite part of the meal. I realize that, in a time where an unconscionable number of people are dying by starvation, complaining about imperfections in a brunch sounds extremely entitled. However, this is a restaurant review.

Came here for breakfast every morning during my stay at the Westin. Only got the buffet on the last day, and it is definitely the most value. They have a nice selection of different breakfast items at the buffet and they are all well made and taste delicious. All of the a la carte items are also good, but portions are on the smaller side. All of the staff are very friendly and welcoming.

We came here two of the three mornings when we stayed at the Westin Ottawa.

The service was fantastic both days. We had our drinks topped up without asking and were always greeted with a big smile in the mornings.

The food options are endless. Anything you can think of, it seems like they have it at breakfast. I highly doubt you'll leave hungry.

The prices are around $100 for a family of 3. $40/adult and $20/child I believe. Decent for a gourmet buffet. Great way to start your day.

I highly recommend it.

Dalys has gone down substantially in the last few years. I ordered the breakfast staple of 2 eggs, hash browns and sausage with toast. I had to virtually beg to get more hot water for my teapot. The food was cold and the taste was greasy. For the price I should have had the $40 buffet! Staff at the front were friendly and helpful but the waitress was so disinterested in me, and was very annoyed if I asked for anything (like jam for my toast, or more hot water for my tea, both of which are normally a given).Very disappointing. Won’t go back on this trip.

Lovely Father's Day brunch. Would have enjoyed a carving station and what happened to the mini desserts?

Terrific breakfast / buffet, tons of options for every food preference and they will make to order for you.

Food was okay but mediocre and expensive. Service was excellent.

We were going to do the breakfast buffet but as soon as we saw that it was 40$ per person (without tax) which doesn’t include coffee which was 6 dollars, we said nope. We ordered off the menu but even then it was quite expensive. For your traditional two eggs, choice of meat and hash brown (which they literally grate the potatoes and pan fry even though they have regular hash brown at the buffet) and toast, it came up to 28$ per person, plus 6$ for coffee. With tax and tip, it came up to 75$ in the end for two people for breakfast. I also did the math as if we would have took the breakfast buffet and it would have been 120$ with tax and tip included (plus coffee). Service was great but the price is just wild for breakfast especially when it’s mediocre.

Excellent variety and quality of food at the buffet. For two adults and one child the cost was $100, no taxes with tip added. Plenty of vegetarian options. Service was helpful and friendly. Would recommend.
