Saved the day!! Graciously accommodated conference gathering of 60 when our initial venue had a flood with 2 hours notice. Food was excellent, ambience was cozy and the service was outstanding! Participants gave it high praise . All food sensitivities were accounted for and they were even able to supply drink tickets. Highly recommend

Best caesar of MY LIFE!! You've gotta get it with the horseradish! Fish and chips was perfect with a pint of Guinness. Gotta love Ottawa and the history this place has. Beautiful night!

Darcy McGee's has always been my go to place when visiting Ottawa and I have spent many great nights there while living in Ottawa. I appreciate their support for military members and veterans by offering discounts. After a long flight from Vancouver today, my first stop was here and unfortunately the service from the bar staff was absolutely non-existent and all were completely unaware of the needs of their patrons. The hostesses were the most pleasant and friendly. Could not leave a review of the food because the bar tenders never bothered asking if I wanted anything despite having a menu in front of me.

Absolutely love this place! Right in the heart of historic Sparks Street, the atmosphere is incredible – cozy Irish pub vibes, live music, friendly staff, and that perfect old-Ottawa charm. The shepherd’s pie (mashed potatoes with gravy and tender meat) is hands-down one of the best I’ve ever had – rich, comforting, and totally unforgettable. Highly recommend D’Arcy McGee’s to everyone visiting or living in Ottawa. Will be back again and again! 🍀🍺

VERY loud with the after-work crowd. Jam packed, had to wait for a table, but good service at the bar and once we were seated. Good was tasty, with lots of shareables and pub fare to choose from.

fair prices and friendly staff, which is always appreciated. The food, however, was a bit underwhelming — quite salty, and the fish and chips were on the soggy side. The tap selection was decent, but the Caesar didn’t quite hit the mark.

The atmosphere isn’t bad — not particularly cozy, but comfortable enough for a quick drink and casual dinner. Overall, it’s an okay spot if you’re in the area and looking for something simple, but not a place I’d go out of my way for.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Excellent Service and Great Lunch at D’Arcy McGee’s!

We came in for a work lunch with a group of 12, even though our reservation was originally for 8 — and we arrived before the official opening. The staff didn’t hesitate to open the doors for us, greeted us warmly, and quickly set up a table to accommodate everyone.

Drinks were served right away, and the food came out impressively fast — all fresh, perfectly cooked, and at the ideal temperature. The portions were generous, and everything tasted fantastic.

It’s not easy to handle a large group that shows up early, but the team at D’Arcy McGee’s made it look effortless. Excellent service, great energy, and delicious food — can’t ask for more for a mid-day work lunch. Highly recommend!

The food was OK but not spectacular. We were seated at a table that was in a very high traffic area. It was awkward and in our opinion not ideal at all. If you go make a reservation (which we did) and request a table away from others passing by.

Far too noisy to enjoy a dinner before the theatre. Wont try again although food snd service were great.

Stew had very little meat and the server acknowledged that but did nothing about it. My meal was meant to have 2 brathursts but came with only 1 without reduction in price. For Every tables in our section, the food was served and there were no cutlery, us included

Our server was great, quick service. The food was meh. I ordered the Guinness beef stew with yorkshire pudding. Very disappointed at how the yorkshire look, just 2 inch wide flat little things 😒 Thats not how yorkshire pudding look or taste. The beef was tough and very salty stew. What a shame as an Irish pub. The baby back rib tasted good though but very tiny serving.

The staff were very accommodating & added an extra table when they noticed there wasnt enough room. It made for a great experience to watch the Jays game.

Well, the best thing about the old Molly McGee here is the architecture and definitely the gentleman at the bar was very knowledgeable about my Guinness and my double shot of Irish Red Breast.
