Despite arriving 25 minutes before our reservation, we were rushed throughout our dinner. Our appetizers arrived minutes after ordering, and our main meals arrived moments after receiving our appetizers. Every moment that we finished something, it was quickly taken away as though we were taking too long. Our main meals were cold by the time we got to them, after finishing our appetizers. The waitress was cold and made us feel like we were taking too long. We didn't feel like we had time to have a second drink. We were in and out in about 35 minutes. Not the most relaxing dinner. On the plus side, the food was good.

My parents were in town to see the NAC Orchestra. We had a lovely dinner before the show. The service was excellent, prompt and friendly. We enjoyed our meals and the sticky toffee pudding was the perfect way to complete the meal. The history of the restaurant is quintessential Canadiana and was fun to share with my visiting parents.

While we have eaten here many times, last night's meal was very disappointing. The sandwich was extremely greasy and the butter chicken was over the top sweet. It will be a long while until we come back here for a meal.

D'Arcy McGees on Sparks Street is an incredible place for date night. It is walking distance to the NAC which is just across the street. Great venue to have a bite and/or drink before attending a play or concert. Highly recommend!

Decided to book here for a quick meal prior to a show at the NAC. Service was friendly albeit a little bit slow. My husband was happy enough with his steak pie, and our friend said her wrap was okay but I picked chicken fingers were were probably the worst chicken fingers I have ever had both in a restaurant or home. They were thin, completely dry, and difficult to bite through, overcooked. I wouldn't serve this at my house so it's kind of insulting the kitchen thought it was okay to send out something like this. I don't expect fine dining but I expected something edible. I couldn't blame the server but it left a bad taste in my mouth and we likely will go else where before the rest of our NAC plays.

When we visit my hometown we stay at the Lord Elgin and walk the two blocks to Darcy's, through rain, sleet or snow. 😎

Each Time you come to Ottawa, we love to eat at this pub ! We give 5 stars!! The Fish and chips is very good!

It was pleasantly quiet and relaxing for our pre-Nutcracker lunch. We appreciated the friendly and speedy service. Food was fresh and tasty (Ahi tuna bowl, Wagyu gyoza, chicken tenders for the small person), portion sizes just right. Nice selection of beers on tap. And we also appreciated the staff's cheerful, friendly approach to a child guest. We've been here many times and will be back again.
Saved the day!! Graciously accommodated conference gathering of 60 when our initial venue had a flood with 2 hours notice. Food was excellent, ambience was cozy and the service was outstanding! Participants gave it high praise . All food sensitivities were accounted for and they were even able to supply drink tickets. Highly recommend

Comme toujours tout était délicieux! Le service impeccable. Oui c'était bruyant mais tellement une belle ambiance!
Il faut s'assurer de ne pas avoir la table bistrot en haut de l'escalier à l'entrée ...inconfortable et froid pour passer du bon temps... nous avons demandé pour une autre table ce qui a été fait au moment qu nous allions terminer notre assiette 🙃
