Went here while visiting Ottawa as a recommendation by a friend. Very small, only seating outside. Was pretty busy when we went but still got our coffees and breakfast fairly quickly. The coffee was alright, I really liked the breakfast sandwich. For the price though it's a little pricey for what it is and sub par service by the person helping at the front. I would go again if in the area but I wouldn't go out of my way to go back.

I love this small, quaint, cake/ dessert hidden gem!!! The desserts are absolutely the bomb!!! They are so good yet not too sweet but they are so flavourful!!! I highly recommend you to support this small business!!! You will not regret it!!!

Literally the best desserts I’ve ever had. The raspberry cream puff might be the best thing I’ve ever eaten and I don’t even like cream puffs. I come here every weekend with my partner and dog and we are always very happy with the service and the food and coffee. Could not recommend more highly.
Every element in every dish is simply delicious, well thought out and executed. The menu item avocado toast which includes a beautiful fried egg is next level. The blueberry fluffy and obviously made from Scratch pancakes, the abundant wild tiny packed with flavor blueberries made one terrific statement and the marscapone whipped cream, a virtual mountain of, were almost too delicious. Their selection of baked goods and their taste will make you swoon. Also prepared with great care and top drawer elements. Good on you Dessert First. Wish more restaurants and other specialty shops took the care in preparing their offerings as you do. Thank you.

I went for breakfast with my family this weekend, we had the avocado toast, croissants sandwich, and the pancakes. They were very delicious and filling. The coffee was very good too, and the staff were very friendly. The place has nice atmosphere and very clean. This place was a pleasant surprise.
