Food was great but portion is too Small. I ordered egussi soup with assorted meat but the soup was too Small of a portion for $35. The price is high for such a Small portion

I would have probably given a 4 star review because I typically like the food (their suya wrap is the best I’ve had in Ottawa). However, I will give a 1 because they really need to do something about their customer service. The owner herself is cool but the person that answers the phone is extremely rude for no reason. I’ve called in to put in my order and so has my husband - each time, we’ve been met with disappointingly rude behaviour. It’s really discouraging sometimes when I want good food but remember that I have to deal with their rude phone staff.

I called in an order, and they got my order wrong. I was ok with it at first, but the owner of the place started to insist that I didn't know what I ordered, as in the mistake was mine. I placed the orders so I know exactly what I ordered. Instead of apologizing and offering to fix the problem immediately, The total lack of customer service skills is the reason why I'm not returning to this establishment ever again. They need to go learn customer service skills.

Detola!!!! You've been blessing me with delicious food since I was 7 months pregnant! I’m not Nigerian, I’m from the Caribbean ,but my husband, our new baby, and I make sure to visit Detola’s at least once or twice a month.
She truly cooks from the heart. You can feel the love in every bite , it’s not just about business, it’s about service, flavor, and soul!
I highly, highly recommend checking it out. The space is clean, simple, and welcoming, and the food is absolutely DELICIOUS!

Recently used Adetola’s Kitchen for catering our rehearsal dinner. The portions were very generous. Everyone enjoyed their food and raved about the puff puff and jollof rice. We sent everyone home with leftovers and still had more. They were very accommodating and delivered our food with no issues. I would recommend this restaurant especially for catering services.
It’s a very beautiful restaurant. I love that they prioritize aesthetics and cleanliness. The workers are also nice, but one thing they can definitely improve is the speed of their service.

Went there for dinner and ordered Ogbonno Soup with Fufu (Goat Combo). It was so delicious! The food was fresh and the portions were appropriate for the price.
The restaurant itself was clean and had such a cute aesthetic. I would definetly recommend Detola’s Kitchen!

The atmosphere in the store is polished. And the food is fire. Probably the best Nigerian restaurant I've had in Canada and I've tried a lot. If you're in the Ottawa area you definitely need to try Detola's kitchen
