I stopped in with my family for a bite on our way home after a few days of visiting Ottawa and I’m glad we did. The owners were friendly and patient as we decided what to eat. I had the daily special - corned beef, mustard, and coleslaw inspired by St. Patrick’s Day and it was delicious. Everything was fresh. They have a kid’s sandwich option, as well. My wife selected her own toppings and said it was one of the best sandwiches she’s ever had. She even grabbed some basil mayo to take home with her. Overall an excellent experience and highly recommended.

Just had my first sandwich from District Deli and it was amazing!!! Fresh, delicious deli meat and lovely sinus-clearing mustard and spicy sauce. Service was warm, friendly and efficient. Will definitely be going back.

I’ve been wanting to try this place for ages, and it did not disappoint! Choosing from all the sandwich options on the wall was tough, but I went with the Ladouceur—and I have absolutely zero regrets. The sandwich was incredibly fresh and flavorful, and I loved that the bread wasn’t an oversized bun, so you could really taste and appreciate all the ingredients. And the pickle? Honestly, the BEST—it totally elevates the whole experience for me at a sandwich shop. Overall, a solid 10/10. These guys have nailed it! Go pay them a visit—you won’t be disappointed.
