So this place is just came under new management. When I moved into the neighbourhood the old place was nothing special and when COVID hit the old guys bailed out. Then, in the middle of a plague, these new guys moved in, cleaned up the place up and got down to business. The result has been a night and day change. The pizza is great and the value lines right up. They are not shy about toppings, they make a great sauce and they are generous with it. All in all it's a solid wheel. The best part though? That is not all they do well. It's worth poking you head into their storefront or giving them a call to check out the menu. Go in hungry, you will not be sorry.

I ordered wings (so I cant say if the pizza is good or not). The wings were totally overcooked and dry. Its hard to eat dry wings even if you force yourself. It was a midnight order...so perhaps it wasn't fresh? I don't know. I wont be trying again - too many other restaurants to explore here.
Pizza tasted amazing and I loved the homemade garlic sauce. Would eat here again for sure.

The bad outweighs the good. The good - good crust, friendly staff, on time.The bad - Pizza is all about cheese. If you don't do the cheese right the pizza isn't worth it. I don't know what quality of cheese Downtown Pizza is using, but that is THE most bland cheese I've ever tasted. No flavor. There wasn't enough sauce on the pizza to notice the flavor of the sauce. The bacon was way undercooked and chewy. I tried broiling the pizza in my oven for 2 minutes to see if that would bring more flavor to the cheese and crisp the bacon. Nope, the cheese still had absolutely NO FLAVOR. When you order pizza it's because you want to treat yourself to a cheesy treat, not because you want to pay money for food with no flavor. I'm very disappointed with this pizza.
