The staff are great and the location is like going over to Grandma's house for a home cooked breakfast, with the vibes to match.
Make sure to book a reservation on weekends or holidays since this place fills up quick.

Came in for brunch around 11am. Ordered eggs benedict and a cappuccino.
Eggs were poached correctly — yolk runny, whites fully set. Hollandaise wasn’t overly acidic or thick like glue. English muffin toasted well and didn’t collapse under the sauce.
Coffee was strong, not watered down. Foam texture was smooth, not bubbly mess.
Place filled up quickly around noon, so come early if you don’t want to wait.
Overall: well-managed kitchen, organized staff, and consistent food quality.

Highly recommend!! Best brunch spot in Ottawa. We had the breakfast sandwich with avocado, the everyday breakfast and a side of their sourdough pancakes. The iced americano’s are delicious as well. Service is very friendly and welcoming!

This cute spot does diner-style breakfast and lunch really well. I’ve never tried their lunch items (sandwiches etc), but I’ve enjoyed every breakfast item I’ve tried, from the classic eggs and bacon to the scrambled egg sammie to the hash. I love that so many items are available as sides — including and especially the truly excellent pancakes. On occasion, I have found the cooking of the food to be a tiny bit inconsistent — my egg whites not quite set one time, or the bacon a bit too floppy, or the excellent hash browns just maybe a bit too fried — but everything tastes great and the service is really friendly. It’s very popular though, so either make a reservation or show up early (I do wish they opened earlier than 9!).

Highly recommend! My boyfriend and I went for breakfast and were so happy with the food and coffee! We got the breakfast burrito with bacon , the breakfast sandwich and we shared the hashbrowns! Everything was delicious and super well made, we got the iced oat milk latte with their homemade caramel pumpkin syrup and wow it was soo good we had to get one to go! Definitely gotta try!

Came here for brunch and ordered the shredded chicken instead of bacon or sausage. I would not recommend as the chicken was quite gamy and didn’t taste good. It set off the flavour of the rest of the meal too. I think that replacing it with a turkey patty or turkey bacon would be much better. Other than that the hash browns were fantastic and so was the pancake.
