I cannot say enough about this restaurant. The food is great, the portions are huge - you certainly get your money’s worth and more. Service impeccable. Unusual elegant decor, very romantic - highly recommended for the “special date “ - yes, gentlemen- Valentine is coming ! Make a reservation, you won’t find a place like this in Ottawa .

Duna Bistro is a small restaurant with a big impact. This cozy eatery serves up excellent food in huge portions that are sure to leave guests happy. Their mouth-watering schnitzel is amazing and bigger than your plate, making it perfect for take-out. It comes with generous sides, such as red cabbage, potato (mashed or potato salad), or spatzle, plus a cold or hot salad, with the cold cucumber salad being particularly divine. The food is fresh, tender, and homemade, and the service is attentive and friendly. The chef/owner is passionate about their craft and even comes out to greet guests, making for a wonderful dining experience. With a lovely, intimate ambience featuring lit candles and chandeliers, Duna Bistro is a must-visit in Ottawa. Although no alcohol is served, they offer near beer and homemade juices. Desserts like torte or mousse are available for those who have room left after enjoying the generous portions.
