Excellent food in huge portions! The schnitzel is amazing, bigger than your plate, so you can enjoy it as take-out! Comes with potato (mashed or potato salad) or spetzl (pasta) plus a cold or hot salad. The cold cucumber salad is divine! The chef came out to greet us and thank us for coming! Lovely, intimate ambience with lit candles and chandeliers! No alcohol is served but they have a near beer and homemade juices! We were too full for dessert but they offered a torte or mousse. A must visit dining experience!

My husband is German and his favourite food is schnitzel. We had amazing schnitzel in Reutlingen, Germany, but THIS was ever BETTER! It was HUGE! Thin, gently tenderized pork loin in an impossibly thin, tasty and perfectly pan fried bread crumb coating. Oh, my goodness! We chose red cabbage (just like Mutti’s!) and spaetzel as sides. Come on! Carmelized onions were tossed with perfectly cooked spaetzel. Amazing! We had to take half home as we could not finish the huge portions. Excellent!

Wow, a schitzel and spaetzle to take you back to the old country. So good and so HUGE. You can hear the pounding from the kitchen so you know it is fresh. So much we had to take loads home and it fed both of us 3 large dinners!

I’m currently eating my leftovers after a lovely dinner at Duna last night. Everything at this restaurant tastes soo good, even cold the next day! Service is great too. Oh and I love that black tea with rose in it <3

Made a reservation for dinner for four two days in advance. We arrived on time and were seated at a table right at entry door. No one came to our table for 30 minutes after that..not even for drinks. When the waitress/hostess finally came to our table, she announced that the restaurant would not be able to serve us as there was a staffing shortage. Totally unacceptable! Why make us wait 30 minutes at the table? Why not offer us some form of credit for a future dinner? Nothing. The four of us drove from out of town for this dinner. So, please beware of not being served or apologized to.

Excellent restraunt!
The schnitzel was to die for, and so was the spaetzel! We also ordered the pierogies as a shareable appetizer, which were phenomenal!!
Will continue to come here, no question! The owner even came and checked in on how our meal was! A+ service!
My wife and I have been searching for an authentic Eastern European and Duna more than hit the mark. Restaurant felt very homey and authentic - like you are in a family restaurant Czech or Vienna. We could feel the schnitzel being tenderized as soon as we ordered. All of the food was delicious and fresh. Our group had the pierogies, palmeni, schnitzel, goulash, chicken paprikash, and the chocolate raspberry cake for dessert. Portions were huge! Impossible to leave feeling hungry. Owner thanked and greeted us before we left as well. Will be coming back again in the near future.

I’m not sure who the blonde with all the gross plastic surgery on her oily face is but she has the worst customer service I’ve ever seen. I simply walk in looking for unit 9 thinking the restaurant I walked into was unit 9 and keep in mind the restaurant had only two people seated and every other table empty and the girl behind the counter looks up at me and says “huh? What did you say” with a look of disgust after I simply asked her if I was in unit 9. As a past restaurant manager the first thing you say to a customer walking in is “hello welcome to… how many are we seating today?” Or something along those lines. After asking her the same question 5 times and using hand signs to show her the number 9 she rolled her eyes laughed and said “I’m not sure what you want but you need to leave” she asked me to leave without taking a second to listen to her customers wants. I simply just asked if the establishment I was in was unit 9 as they have zero signs telling anyone what restaurant it is. Her and the whole staff need to read the book Raving Fans by Ken Blanchard with that customer service they provide I honestly don’t know how she got hired if that’s how she’s treating customers. Extremely disappointed with this establishment and will be making sure I let people know about how they treat customers here. Just absolutely disgusting behaviour.

Pretty good for a couple and family restaurants
I did have the large 11 inch 3.5mm thick meat Slab I was very surprised.if have to compare it to eganvile granary schnitzel. That have a very small menu item witch is alright. If the boss goes out to Eganvile hit up the granary on Wednesday to Saturday, Sunday to Tuesday there closed. Just to add one or two menu items. Would be nice. It a good lay back spot to replace carling Avenue capone
Edit note : try there jaiger mushroom sauce on there own in really good on it own it worth the 8$
