No offense to the other Indian food restaurants, East India Company is just that much better.The food quality is stunning! You can tell the people behind the scenes cooking are doing it with love and care. I've never been less than impressed.Service is always kind and prompt; you could not ask for better service. Big thank you to the workers for being so lovely and cordial.We have gotten takeout several times now, and the value for money is absurd. Food is ready on time and the front of house is always organized.Unsure what to order for your first time? I recommend the Combination Meal, Malai Delight combo for 2. Enough portions for 2 large meals and 2 large leftovers: naan, rice, butter chicken, dessert, salad, and my personal favourite dish on the menu - veggie navratan! I was so happy that they opened an East India Company restaurant in Bells Corners. Closer to us than the one downtown. It has always been my go to Indian Buffet. Today I came back for the first time since the pandemic. I was so scared that they have change things up due to many restaurants suffered through the pandemic. I even wondered if it would be a full buffet or perhaps they made it smaller? To my surprise, the choices were even more plentiful than before. All my faves were there and still delicious as I remember it. Service is always good. Of course price changed and it’s more but that’s what happens with inflation. The only change I hated was me. I used to be able to go for third round but I barely made it the first plate. Getting old sucks lol

Last time I came there was an amazing shrimp curry and I was very excited to try it again, but when I got there it wasn’t on the buffet menu for that day. Although the manager heard about the situation and specifically made some for us. It was incredibly sweet of them and the curry was delicious. I would highly recommend going there:)

East India company has never disappointed us! We’ve been to east India for all different kinds of events - from casual dining, great buffet experiences, or just take outs, to hosting small events like baby shower, to catering food for our big wedding 6 years ago… the service is extraordinary! All the staff are very attentive and friendly! Food is so delicious! I love their unique sea food variety like crab curry and mussel korma! Definitely going with east India for our next event too!

Naan was brittle and cold, and the food itself tasted like it was left out for longer than it should have. If they can fix those two issues, easily a 5 star rating.
