Our group of 5 came on May 25th, 2025. It is a very tight space for groups of over 5. We spent 90$ for 5 meals, which is not bad for a diner. As soon as we entered we were greeted by our waitress and she was very polite and we got our food in under 30 minutes. The hotdog was good, although the sausage is kind of dry. The fries were missing a bit of salt. The corner near the entrance is the quietest and has no distractions. The front where the bar and the speakers were and are very loud and have a lot of TV's. Overall, it is a very good place to have a nice chat.
PS: The washrooms could be better.

Eddy’s diner serves good, simple, solid fare. The BLT I ordered was nothing spectacular and not particularly generously-sized, but the home fries were decent and the coffee was good. Prices are fair, especially for the upscale area and elevated prices that pervade the neighbourhood. Our server was great. The bathrooms are super hazardous for tall people to access in the basement.

We visited Ottawa for 2 days. On our way back we came across this diner for breakfast. The service was quick and the lady serving us was considerate who kept on checking if everything is fine. The coffee was great! We ordered chicken Philly, chicken club sandwich and fish ‘n chips. Each item has its own unique flavour! If we come back to Ottawa we will definitely visit the diner again!

The food was great, the service was great. We tried the hot chicken, the classic club sandwich and the club house wrap. All 3 were great. The portions were just right. Definitely coming back.

Eggs Benedict and hash brown potatoes. Eggs Benedict was good. Nothing special but eggs were done well and sauce was good. Potatoes were really good. Crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. Good basic breakfast.
This is a terrific diner, the food, service and dining room are excellent and comfortable.

Awesome and convenient location. Great service and atmosphere. Wait was next to non existent when we arrived. Coffee, tea and food was definitely enjoyed thoroughly by our entire table.

Filthy, downstairs smells like urine. Food came raw and had to remake it. Didn't offer water, had to wait for cutlery. We were the only ones in the restaurant most of the time and still they couldn't put food out in reasonable time. Bottles of sauce were crusted over in dried liquid. Had to ask twice for the bill and they decided to cash out a table of 8 before us (they came in 20 minutes after us).
Truly the worst meal I have ever had at a breakfast joint and this is a spot known to Ottawa locals.

This place is small, but clean. We walked in & waited to be seated for a while before I went to find a server myself in the back.She was texting 🤷 We were seated, we ordered and the food arrived. We never saw the same server again. No one came by to ask if everything was okay or if we needed anything. Nobody brought us water. We have to ask for coffee refills. The hash browns instead of being a pile of hash browns it's literally two spoons worth spread out to cover space on the plate LOL. The food matched the price. I go so far as to say it's too much for the type of breakfast you got. You can make a much better basic breakfast at home. That being said the food was cooked properly and everything was clean. The coffee was not great. This place feels like a very bare-bones type of place. I would never come here again only because I want breakfast at a restaurant to be better than what I can make at home at the very least.
