So I'm sitting here now having an extraordinary lavender cappuccino. I've had them at other Equator locations, but they're just that little bit better here. Why you may wonder? I have to tribute it to the barista skills of Jade, this being the second one she's crafted for me. Though a bit of an epicure, I'm certainly no master, but I know my espresso and there is perfection here. An absolute joy.
Staying nearby while visiting Ottawa, I was pleasantly surprised to find an artisan coffee shop with quality coffee roasts. It was early morning and most customers were using the drive-thru, so the staff at the register had the bandwidth to walk me through their different coffees. She helped me try their brewed coffee, which was delightful, then helped me pick out a bag that I wanted for later. I went to Equator Coffee right after my university graduation, still dressed in my suit. The friendly staff asked me why I was so dressed up and I told them that I had just finished up at my graduation ceremony. Without hesitation, Misha and the rest of the amazing team congratulated me and told me that the coffee was on them today.
