The atmosphere was overall a relaxed space.
The drinks were okay, I didn't find the pumpkin spice latte to have a distinct flavour. It was not worth the cost. The service was not very pleasant nor very helpful. There was no menu to look at. Some staff were not very happy to help with drink selection and / or drink drop off.
It was a much different experience than my last visit.

Drove 30 minutes to come here to buy $100 of bulk coffee to find out that they closed today at 3Pm due to cafe maintenance. This could have been done after hours. I will never come back here again. Went somewhere else who appreciates their customers.

The best roasts around town combined with great service and tasty specialty drinks make this my favorite local (Westboro) coffee shop, just edging out some of the competition.
Over a year later, still my favorite roasts in available in Weatboro, BBCR in Gatineau might have the edge on them if you're up for a drive to check them out.
Parking: A couple spots available beside the building off of Danforth and the obvious street parking options.
I genuinely don’t understand the hype of this place. Staff are always cold with me and seem miserable… and drinks are way over priced. $8+ for a small latte? There are other places around that are just as good and have friendlier service. They also take forever to make it, very slow service. Every time I come here I immediately regret it.

This is a bright and spacious coffee shop with a decent amount of seating arrangements and options. Equator has a range of drink options, both tea and coffee, although they seem to only have two coffee options on brew at a time (med and bold) - not sure if you can order a pour-over of your choice. - They appear to be child-friendly, with plenty kids books and a puzzle or two in the built-in bookshelf. - They have an extensive selection of pastries and desserts. - Yes, they have Wi-Fi. - The washroom by the side door is Gorgeous
Bonus: they have free parking in the lot behind the building (off Danforth)!
I didn't appreciate that their drip coffee was more expensive than Starbucks (in fact, most of their menu was on par or more expensive than SB), or the temperature of the shop. While I am one of those ppl who gets cold easily, I kept my coat on even with having a coffee. Also, I didn't notice any outlets.
Update 08.30.24 - I still love Equator's North Star espresso, so I still enjoy this shop. I think their prices are on par with most everyone else in this day and age. They have a lot of non coffee options, too, for those companions who don't do coffee, and still have a lot of good desserts and even sandwich options.
