Wonderful place with very good breakfast, tasty lunch and great service. Best wishes to the sisters who run this place with true dedication, providing an extraordinary experience and a bit of Polish atmosphere. We had the opportunity to visit this place every day during our short visit to Ottawa, each time with a warm welcome. You do a good job.
Greetings from Kelowna :)
- Food: First time trying zapiekanka; I thought it was pretty good. The Boczek zapiekanka ($20.50) was well-loaded with bacon, mushrooms, cheese, hot peppers, and pickles (+$2.30).
- Service: The owner is extremely friendly and advised me on the history of the dish and how best to eat it. She was great to talk to.
I love this place! They have amazing food and service! I got the turkey melt, on whole wheat and it's always delicious!
Euro Bistro always delivers, great food and wonderful service. They even brought a bowl outside for my dog! Coffee is great, much better than any chain. Food is made to order and high quality.
I had the Schnitzel sandwich and my partner had the Norwegian Salmon. Both very good and filling. Excellent place.
Delicious food and lovely staff - really cozy feeling. Right on bustling Elgin st, this place still somehow feels so calming, very much a little oasis for good food and a relaxing atmosphere.
It was good but a little too expensive
Had the raspberry nougat latte with oat milk, the lady helped me customize it so it would be just the right sweetness, and it was fantastic! Really creamy and tasteful, it gave me all the energy for walking hours in the Canadian museum of nature, and feeling great. My friend had a classic latte and loved his too. I would definitely go back.
Euro Bistro is a modest family owned restaurant in the downtown core. The food is fresh and home cooked. The menu consists of sandwiiches, paninis, soups, salads ,main dishes. The twist on the menu is towards European with a nod to Eastern i.e. pierogis. The atmosphere is familiar and relaxed and the owners, two sisters, run an efficient, politel and friendly ship. The restaurant fits within the tradition of the familial, traditional, fresh food oriented and modestly priced neighborhood place. Every neighborhood should have its Euro Bistro.
Kind Polish lady served me, and the Paris brie sandwich was excellent with lots of cheese and ham

I loved this place. I have tried perogies in a lot of different cafes and restaurants, but these do taste like home. Highly recommend!

We went for our lunch break but I had to use the bathroom first and when I came out the lady behind the counter told me I could at least pay for the toilet paper and soap. It was a bizarre interaction and we left without ordering. Very disappointed and insulted.
