We just had 2 salads - OK, but probably not their specialty. I was a little disappointed with the size of the salad and with the minimal add on of pulled park for 7,95 CAD. The service was quick and great.

This is a gem! I didn't dine in, took the food to go ,but the 10mins i waited for my food to be cooked I could tell the vibes were nice , people where having a good time and the bartender was great ,food was delicious...chicken and waffles

The decorations and atmosphere was so impressive and truly reminded me of a Texas smokehouse! There were limited meat options, only beef briskets, pork ribs, smoked chicken, pulled pork and fried chicken I think. The beef brisket was tender but the pork ribs could’ve been smoked for a tad bit longer, it was still slightly chewy. The shoestring fries were very well-seasoned and super crunchy. The fried pickles were very crunchy as well, but the maple mash with pecan was slightly too sweet and not thick enough. Our sever Amy was amazing and super attentive! There’s an outside patio, super great for a cool, summer day!

Fat boys is 100% worth a try if your in Ottawa. Great place. Great staff and definitely great food. If I lived in Ottawa I would eat here regularly and end up like the name of the restaurant. Glad we found this place. If I’m ever in Ottawa again. I’m definitely coming back to eat here.

Went to Fatboys for the first time tonight and it won’t be our last. After waiting for a seat we were met by the owner who welcomed us and told us we would enjoy the food and he wasn’t wrong we had the Kentucky shared platter and it was definitely filling and the price was affordable. Our server was Emma who filled our drinks and told us what food was coming and what dips were available. Enjoyed the atmosphere and the service. Will definitely be back
The atmosphere is fabulous. The bartender is kind and helpful. However, the barbecue is dry, especially the pork rib and the beef brisket.

Great atmosphere and staff. The food left more to be desired- especially for experienced BBQ fans. I love BBQ and always get some when I go to the US. If I never had BBQ before I would probably think this was good. I’m so sorry to say the brisket and ribs in particular were remarkably dry and bland compared to experiences I’ve had in the states for a fraction of the cost. Really surprised based on the other reviews. Just my experience!

The real southern bbq. Well the taste is great the sampler is really awesome. Its for you to try as for me this is one of the go to bbq places. You an smell the bbq from far away whoch invites you to dine in.
