We had the soft shell crab and endive salad as appetizers. For the mains we had the spaghetti, smoked duck breast and dry aged PEI rib eye steak. I have to say it blew me away! The crab was deep fried, but still light somehow, very tender with a wonderful sauce on the side. The salad was ok in my opinion. The spaghetti was cooked in a really nice cream sauce with lots of truffles on top. The flavor combination was great. The duck was very very good, and the mushrooms it came with...
Excellent service and food. Top notch. A couple of minor issues. The wine list was extensive, but one or two under $100, and rapidly increased to over $500. I didn't know there was so many rich people in Ottawa. The rib steak was excellent. But I've also had excellent steak for less than $150 for 2. It's a bit much. I'd go back I think - but not for the rib steak. LOL
This is one of the best dining experiences we have ever had. Servers were knowledgeable and friendly, with great menu recommendations and cocktail/wine pairings. The food was incredible. Such great flavour profiles and fresh ingredients. Perfectly curated combinations that will leave a lasting impression. Hands down the best meal we have had in Ottawa.
