Haven’t been to Fauna in a long time and I should have been back sooner. Terrific food. Best tartare (veal) I’ve had in probably forever. Was on patio that offers a great happy hour menu (as well as the full restaurant menu). Highly recommend.
I love the food, I love the drinks and I love the vibe.
What I don't love was being ignored by my server. Don't know what the issue was but I was the second table in, I never had an interaction with him before. He paid attention to every other table as they came in to his area after my arrival, I tried to get his attention but he would just look by me, the initial drink order was pretty hostile. Eventually 4 tables in this area, not including mine....

This is our local. An expensive local, but a delicious one! The staff are attentive and knowledgeable. Michael the sommelier makes wine approachable and takes us out of our wine comfort zone which has greatly expanded our comfort zone. The place we always take visitors to Ottawa!
