A hotel restaurant with some good atmosphere, great service, but an average experience with food that looks amazing but the taste didn't live up to the looks.I had the pumpkin soup to start and I love the way it was presented and that I had to pour the soup over the sour cream and bacon. Unfortunately it was under seasoned and I had to add a lot of pepper and salt.Main was the lamb, which again was presented beautifully. The lamb was cooked just right and was perfectly tender, but it was also under seasoned. The supporting vegetables were under seasoned and undercooked, especially the potatos. Its a real shame because the food looks incredible.I probably wouldn't have gone to so much detail if this was a cheap meal, but it was quite pricey to be having issues with under seasoning and undercooking.Overall I had a good experience.

We did the Valentines Day menu the food was great, the service was good, they did get busy at one point and we missed one of the course but they brought it to us right away when we let them know.

Unfortunately the restaurant closes at 9pm and we had a reservation for 8:15pm so we felt a little rushed but the food was very good! It would be nice if they stayed open longer on weekends.

We didn't end up making this timeslot for our dinner reservation as the restaurant closed earlier than marked on opentable. However, we did order room service for Breakfast - avocado & toast and it was really great. The chai Latte I had from the bistro was the best I've ever had! I heard via some locals that Feast & Revel used to be one of best in Ottawa, I truly hope this restaurant picks up again as the hotel is an incredible stay but both the restaurant and lounge have terrible January hours for travelers. I'll try again during my next visit to the capital!

Drip coffee is terrible but espresso, cappuccino etc is good. Friend found a hair in her food but they were quick to rectify and discount. Food needs more flavour and better presentation - poached eggs were overdone. It was pretty busy but not that noisy in spite of it. From the photos I thought it would be more cosy but it's open and at the front of the hotel. Lots of pets but that was a plus for us! Service was a bit on the slow side but he was trying. Overall it was average. Not what I thought I was going to get but not terrible either. Might recommend but depends on the friend and what they are looking for.

My aunt, sister and a friend of mine went for diner on Christmas day. We ordered the Salmon - It was delicious - cooked perfectly! The chicken in a mushroom sauce was also very good! The Fish and Chips - very good! For dessert I had the creme bruler - Yummy! My sister had the pumpkin pie (and she is a fussy eater) she absolutely loved it. The service was excellent! We had the first table to the left as you enter the restaurant - it was cozy - quiet - the lighting was just right (relaxing). It was a very pleasant evening food, service and all. Will definitively recommend it and return soon!

My recent visit to Feast and Revel was marred by a lackluster service experience. From the start, the staff's inattentiveness was apparent, and the lukewarm, uninspiring food didn't help matters. The overall feeling was one of being unwelcome. I hope for improved service in the future.

Our visite at feast+revel was completely disappointing. We booked for a group of 13 people and when booking we were informed that there would be an 18% tip included which is normal. However, when paying, the waitress Noura wants us to have a single bill or a maximum of 2 even though this was not mentioned when booking. The manager Carlos came and his behaviour was appalling. the manager was rude and dismissive. We felt disrespected and unappreciated as customers. We won't be returning, and I strongly recommend others to think twice before dining here."

Our experience at the restaurant was incredibly disappointing. We were a group of 13, and to our surprise, the restaurant demanded a single bill, a detail that was never mentioned when we made the reservation. When we pointed out that this requirement wasn't in the original booking conditions, which included an 18% tip and a $25 charge for each absent person, the manager's response was shockingly rude. He insolently informed us that he would bill us individually and that the time it might take was not his concern. Following this, our server also adopted an extremely haughty attitude. This kind of treatment is unacceptable and marred what could have been a pleasant dining experience.

We have often enjoyed breakfast at the F&R and have now experienced an amazing dinner. Fabulous pumpkin soup with sour cream and lardons, nicely grilled salmon, and an awesome grilled chicken pizza. Service was impeccable.

The feast and Revel was an amazing experience for my family and I. We’ve now been several times even without staying downtown in hotels. It’s become a spot we truly enjoy going to every couple of weeks. The atmosphere and service is exceptional with delicious food.

Food was ordinary. Too expensive for what it was. Also, asked for my steak well done. We had to return it 3 times. I got a small discount and a coffee but they only reheated my steak instead of making a new one.
