I recently found out that this small Vietnamese restaurant is run by the former long time owner of New mee fung on Booth st. I ate at his restaurants since 1987 when he ran his first small restaurant on Somerset. . The kitchen is run by his wife, assisted by his son. The food is fresh and tasty. The menu is limited but they made a change I requested. I will certainly be back.

I randomly stumbled upon this Vietnamese restaurant looking for soup! I'm so glad I did because this place had amazing, great quality and extremely fresh tasting food.

Also, I had a few changes to my order and they had no issues accommodating me. The owner was extremely kind. Service was excellent and fast. They also give tea which is a nice touch. Portions are great, I ate half and I still had more than enough for leftover lunch for the next day.

Highly recommend! Will be coming back - this will be my go-to Vietnamese restaurant.

Best Vietnamese I have eaten in ages. You could eat off the bathroom floor. Staff are lovely.

Best Banh Cuon (steamed rice rolls) in Ottawa. Whenever I’m craving it, I always order from here. They also have other tasty dishes on the menu as well.

Nice menu selection but everything had pork except few menu items. The server accomodated our request but missed it on my plate. He quickly fixed his mistake.
Service with smile, welcoming with smile and good bye with smile.
They had the most spicy hot sauce I've ever tried at any vietnamese restaurant it was good.

Delicious food made with care. I ordered take-out but next time will dine in as the restaurant was nicely decorated and had a charming atmosphere. Service was extremely friendly.

I saw the reviews and had to order from it but realized that the food isn't authentic at all. Bun bo hue is no where near what it should taste like.

Feeling under the weather from a hangover, I decided to order from this Vietnamese restaurant, and it exceeded my expectations. I regret not having come here all these years—what a waste! The braised beef noodle soup was piled high with meat, generous in portion. Although it was labeled as spicy, it had a mild flavor that I found very pleasant. The broth was light, which I really liked.

The Vietnamese pork rice paper rolls with crushed peanuts and stir-fried minced pork were a delight. Dipped in a sweet and savory sauce, they instantly awakened my taste buds. Enjoying a portion of this in the summer is pure happiness.

The steamed pork and shrimp rice rolls were the best I've ever had. The shrimp inside were genuinely large, not the usual frozen small shrimp, and paired perfectly with the sweet peanut sauce. I couldn't stop eating them—they were absolutely delicious. I will definitely continue to support this restaurant's food.

The former owners of the new mee fung. Glad I was able to locate their new place. Food was delicious as always. We will be regular customers!

The owner is the sweetest main and offered me tea while waiting for my take out and chatted. The place is very clean and the decor is simple yet lovely. The food is as always fresh and delicious. By far my favourite Vietnamese restaurant in Ottawa. Shrimp rolls with peanut sauce were super fresh and the spicy peanut saute was unbelievable! Just delicious! Can’t wait to go back and dine in with family and friends.

I had a beef noodle soup and cha gio. Both are incredibly tasty. I especially recommend cha gio, it was so flavorful and crispy! ?

Lovely warm place, small menu with choices you do not usually see. The warm rice crepes and the green papaya salad were both delicious and had lots of shrimp and fresh (for the salad) and warm (for the crepes) flavourful fillings. The crepe filling was minced so finely it sounds silly but I was impressed by that as it made the wraps extra delicious texture-wise. The bun bo hue had great toppings that I have not had before, there was some type of crispy pork pieces that were delicious. Will be back especially for the bun bo hue!Access notes: Several steps to door (accessing an older house); two single non-gendered washrooms large enough to move about it, one with a grab bar near the toilet; tables that are large with armless chairs that move.

Wheelchair accessibility: There are quite a few steps up to the entrance of the building as it is an older stand-alone house type building. Inside the area is spacious and mostly level to navigate, but it looks like it would be hard to get in.

We love coming to Feifung for a nice homey experience and obviously great food. One of the only places that does Banh Cuon in Ottawa so it's worth coming here for it alone.
