tried a the dirty 30 sandwich and it was so good! they are generous with toppings. i also got a few raspberry butter tarts and they were delicious too

i just placed an order for sandwiches over the phone for an upcoming party - the lady who took my order was a sweet gem ! She gave me suggestions on what to order - super professional and friendly .

Normally I really like the buttermilk pie but the last one I bought was severely under done. The edges of the filing was firmed up, but the entire middle was pudding consistency. I cut it and it all poured out into the plate and the crust was raw. Very frustrating, especially since I was serving this to guests!

One of my favourite sandwich joints in town. Just do your taste buds a favour and visit the friendly and efficient staff here. The only frustrating part of each visit is drying to decide what sandwich to get while wiping your mouth from drool LOL

I missed getting my hands on one of Frank's Butter tarts at the Ontario Butter Tart festival in Midland, Ontario (June 14, 2025) but just my luck we met unexpectedly in a parking lot off the 401 the next day. I managed to score one of the last packages they had from the festival- this package was raisin. I was ECSTATIC when I finally opened the package and shared it with my Family on Father's Day. These are the best raisin butter tarts I've ever tasted. (And I usually would prefer pecan or plain.) And I've tried countless bakeries and varieties. Frank's raisin butter tarts were so yummy! Tasted great even the next day and wonderful after frozen and re-heated. Thanks, Frank, for having one last package for this foodie to try (LOL) and demonstrating that I had not yet tried all the best butter tart bakeries in Ontario. Now I have! Thank you!

Why had I never heard of this place. Brought two beautiful samies thier today. Simply awesome!

There is no better sandwich shop in Ottawa, and also no better butter tarts either. Both of these make this the place to get your favourite food including soups pies and baked goods. Stop in and see for yourself. The staff are wonderful, helpful and very friendly
