My elderly mother (with a cane) and I arrived without reservations and were turned away, although several seats were available. Must need a certain blood colour in this New Edinburgh spot to get a seat. Hard pass to those who want a less stuffy place.

Super expensive. The taro chips were good. The beef and potatoes were pretty filling. But the scallops were underwhelming as a main, wouldn't order again.

Easily one of the best restaurants I have had in Ottawa!!
The food was melt in your mouth delicious. Our highlights were the scallops and the roasted beets. The dishes were very unique and portion wise was large for a more upscale restaurant.
My friend who doesn’t even enjoy vegetables or seafood said it was good… So that’s when you know it was a 11/10!
Service was also wonderful and our waitress was very attentive!

Many of the $28 breakfast options don't even come with a piece of toast. The omelette and the heuvos ranchersos both have no texture.. just mushy dishes. Also there is an a/c unit grill that hangs above the tables that is covered in grey dust/mold/fluff.
