Food was very good. I had the beet, apple and ginger soup, arancini and tres leche tiramisu. All dishes I would order again. My dining mates had the short rib and the duck - both great as well. Service was very good. My only comment would be the side order of bread was okay.

Our reservation was for 8. We weren't seated until 8:20. I had the beef carpaccio and found God

I had their one vegan dish coconut arancini and it’s absolutely delicious 😋 The service is great and the atmosphere lovely but gets a little loud at times I find but overall, I’ll be going again and again as long as they keep that vegan dish on the menu. Hopefully they expand to two vegan items;)

We went to Gezellig for my partner’s birthday and we were so impressed!! We had the octopus, tartare, short rib and duck. All dishes were superb! Honourable mention goes to the octopus…the octopus itself was great but the potato salad it was on stole the show! Our server was amazing! He had great recommendations, was very attentive and really contributed to making the evening special. Can’t wait to go back!

You can tell the servers and all the staff care deeply about the food and flavours. We were treated to excellent service, with great banter and thoughtful recommendations about the dishes and wine pairings. Will be returning.

We come here annually around the holidays. Usually the food is superb but this year, the beef short rib with polenta was unpleasant. We should have sent it back but our server was busy. Super dry, flavorless beef, and weird gluey polenta that tasted and looked more like whipped ricotta. The mole was overpowering and could not save the beef. This is the first year where we were disappointed in our mains.

The standout part of our order was the coconut arancini with the kale pesto and pickled mango (super tasty and balanced flavours!).

The in-cider cocktail was also pleasant.

Service was poor. Other than continually filling water glasses not asked about more drinks. Not asked about coffee or tea at dessert time.Felt like we were ignored and no not because it was super busy. Appetizers were very good but should have skipped the main. Scallops were over cooked and rubbery. Won’t be back for dinner nor recommend.

Any available staff look after your needs. The co owner, Clay, was there and working as hard as his crew. He really knows his wine and spirits. I've never had a bad experience there.

We reserved the upstairs (I wasn't the lead on this reservation so not sure how that works). Service was attentive, efficient and very cordial. Table was set nicely, napkins were excellent quality (something I like). Good selection of wine and beer but I had a half'n'half of ginger ale and cranberry juice. I didn't have a starter. Main course was salmon, dessert was creme brule - both very tasty and well presented. Table bread was fresh, nice. I would recommend this restaurant.

Went there for dinner. Lovely atmosphere, nice paintings on the wall. Service was excellent.
Food was overpriced for what it was.

It’s a nice place with gracious service but food did not blow me away. I started lunch with moules frites. Mussels were tasty, served with a spoon for drinking excellent broth. Fries were a little over browned for my taste. A second course of prawns was a little disappointing. Three grilled prawns on a nicely presented disk of potato salad. Unfortunately the potatoes had that telltale mealy texture from having been refrigerated. My companion’s butter finger dessert was fab. S’mores for grownups. My raspberry creme brulee had a lovely hard topping but the pudding was a rather liquid raspberry yogurt, not the egg custard I expected.
