Forgot about my reservation, it was for my birthday. Manager told me I was booked in for the week after which I was not. Never got email confirmation. Couldn’t get me in. Called me the next day and said they moved my reservation. I ended up giving them one more chance. I was seated in an awkward spot near the washroom. My steak wasn’t cooked right when I told the manager she asked me if I wanted to keep my fries while she cooked my steak, I said no. We went back and forth. She insisted I keep them which was weird. My fries were just on the table. I hated where I was seated, the food is okay. The manager isn’t professional nor accommodating and passive aggressive. Would not recommend.

The place was absolutely amazing. The food was great, but the people and ambience was even better. Amanda was the coolest and James gave us great recommendations. Will be back!

Good food . Very limited menu . Noise level at times high . Service was very good . I'll probably give it another try . Expensive in relation to portion size and variety . Hubby ordered steak frit - not a single veg on the plate . Steak was smothered in sauce, already sliced which makes you wonder about the quality of the meat . I on the other had ordered the crab pasta which was excellent. Very tasty , decent portion .

Unfortunately, we probably ended up with the worst table of the table of the restaurant. It was lodged too close to the kitchen (heard the Chef giving his intrusions to his team and singing “All by myself” by C. Dion) and extremely noisy. The staff bumped into our chairs a few time since it was clear that we were in the way. Aside from this, the food was exquisite. We shared two appetizers and each ordered a larger plate as a main meal. The portions were generous and the twist on some classic French recipes were modern and fresh. Our waitress was knowledgeable about the menu, in a great mood and made our evening better. I would recommend to friends in the hopes that the restaurant removes the table we sat at.

By far the best high end restaurant I have ever been to! Service was impeccable! Our soda waters were constantly being refilled, our jackets were put away and brought back by the staff, frequent check in's to make sure we are ok, and very friendly and courteous staff. And the food was to die for! We ordered the taster and every time they brought us our plates, the waiters would provide a description of it. The portions were very generous and the food was amazing, and definitely food we have never tried before. Not too pricey considering everything you are getting and the great experience! I can't wait to go back!

Some things were good. Some things were bad. About the same amount of both. So 3* across the board. Probably won't be back.
The service was a bit slow for mid-week but the presentation was excellent. The best course was the sweet breads. Otherwise, all items were good. I really enjoyed the duck and the French onion soup was traditional and good. The scallops were rather bland.

I'll share some of the same comments I've read before. The food is ok but the price point and portions leave something to be desired. The French onion soup and beef tartare were good. The soup was strong and concentrated. The beef marrow was kind of a gimmick to me, wouldn't really miss it. The tartare was nice and liked the texture. The fries were limp and soft. Steak was ok but a small 8 oz.The sauce on the dusk was a bit too sweet. The veggie sides were flavourless and too small to really get anything out of it. Would've appreciated potatoes instead.

We celebrated my husbands birthday at the Chef's table with the tasting menu along with the wine pairing. Food and service was amazing, each course was served family style and there was plenty to eat. When each dish or wine arrived we were told how it was prepared and how the wine complemented the meal. We loved seeing the inside working of the kitchen which is why the Chef's table is so great. We are definitely going back!

Food was good, but some not generous servings (chilled clams, crab spagetty, roasted duck). Certain things were missing that one normally expect such as no bread served with seered beef tartar appetizer, which was instead accompanied by fried pieces of lard ???. In addition, the "roast duck" was not a really a roasted duck but two smallish sliced of (roasted?) duck with very, very little foie gras. Desert - creme caramel - was quite good, and the red wine was excellent, but, unfortunately, served at room temperature, not fresher. However, the service was outstanding and remedied this mistake. Finally, the standard "fancy" black and white plastic chairs (1970 design?) are wobbly and very, very uncomfortable, but, again, the waitress was very helpful and quickly exchanged them for more comfortable regular chairs.

It was a very nice evening. I had the Bass. My girlfriend had the Steak Frites. The only feedback I would have would be that the Bass could have come with some side. It was a little small.
