My favourite sushi & poke shop. Friendly staff. The main thing is that you can tell their ingredients are absolutely fresh/generous portions and you can taste the aroma of the vinegary rice! Chefs kiss :)

We ordered sushi and everything was perfect. The rolls were extremely fresh, so of the best sushi we’ve ever had. You can tell they use high-quality ingredients. It was our first time ordering, but definitely not the last. Highly recommend if you’re looking for great sushi in Ottawa!

Great first experience with some delicious sushi. Stopped in for a quick dinner of a few rolls. The restaurant had just been slammed by some online orders so service was a bit slow but not so slow that I was annoyed… if anything it showed they were popular.
The gyoza was pretty good - a bit of a twist is that they were crispy. The sushi rolls were really thick and super tasty. Very excited to come back and try some of the other options!

My partner and I came in to have some dinner two hours before closing when the staff informed us they weren't serving sushi rolls at the time. When dining at a sushi restaurant, it is expected that sushi is served until closing. There is also very little seating. The only other customers in the restaurant were able to get sushi aswell. Very disappointing.

This is the unfortunate story of a good restaurant slowly going down. Depending on who is working you will have a different experience, plate size, and often different.
Today I reached my breaking point. Half the usual portion of rice, no vegetables at all (no carrots, peppers, beans, cucumbers, or avocado).
Time for me to find a new sushi place and I suggest you avoid this one.
