Kind owners, and delicious food! My favourite is the crispy beef, best I’ve had in the city, plus they make every order fresh on the spot, great tasting and nicely portioned leaving you full and satisfied. Try the crispy beef, you won’t be disappointed

Frequented this vendor for over a decade when I'm in the area. Felt today I needed to share my review to support them. They are always a reliable lunch option for a healthy portion of Thai stir fries and rice dishes for extremely reasonable prices under $14 at today's inflation rates. The beef Pad Kee is my goto with a decent portion of beef slices and broccoli compared to equivalent Thai Expresses. Noodles are saucy and succulent. Give it a try and support this staple local business who had survived through the pandemic to serve up great stirfries.

Very filling, large portions of comfort Thai/general Asian-Canadian classics. The service is nice and if you can handle the cooks shouting out your order loudly to the waiting crowd, it’s kind of fun. Lunch time can become very busy with civil servants, so be prepared for a bit of a wait some days. It’s an excellent, faster alternative though to the always-lengthy line for the subway next door.
Vegetarian options: A good number of vegetarian options. Meat could be left off most offerings on the menu

Place was closed by 4pm but the owner saw me and decided to open it back up to make me a bowl of food. Couldn’t be happier to eat here! Thank you so much ??

Didn’t expect much with the food in the mall but was pleasantly surprised with how delicious the food was. Perhaps I was very hungry but in any case I really enjoyed the meal.

"Pad Thai" was ghastly, it's not Pad Thai at all, terribly sweet sauce that tastes nothing like Pad Thai, the noodles were soggy and overcooked which made it suck even more.

Golden Thai is located on the main floor inside Holland Cross complex in the food court section. Their service is quick. I liked all of my meals so far, however I only tried the following: spring roll, wonton soup, noodle soup with vegetables, crispy beef and general Tao's chicken. They always ask for spice levels :)

Only had the Pad Thai but it's one of my favorites in Ottawa.
Try a lot fried rice, one of the best. Quality meat.

Great service. Large portions. More on the sweeter side for most dishes, so I just ask for extra spicy ???

Tried the chicken pad thai. Asked for spicy and it wasn't spicy. Overpriced and didn't meet expectations. The sauce was insanely sweet, it was like eating noodles covered in syrup.
Shrimp red curry is gluten free and delicious. Plenty of good sized shrimp, sauce leans a bit sweet but portion size and food quality is great. Great prices for what you get!
